And every week that passes……that the pass yards/team goes down on avg….like this year has been….the more important kickers and punters become.

Those old days when the Bears, Packers, Lions, and Vikings all played outdoors made for some fun times in December.

It's still relatively early times. Perhaps the offences will improve in the coming weeks.
Still, I agree that the ripple effect of the dynamic kickoff has definitely increased the value of the kicking game, with more field goals, and punts which have moved the starting point of drives closer to the receiving team's end zone.

I fear that the league will tinker with more rule changes. When players get good at some portion of the game they change it. Then when they get bad at another part they change that also. Never can leave well enough alone.
