Dud: Offense and Nixon. Lafleur for not going two TE heavy. Bisaccia sucks or is just average. I'm not sure.
Stud: Jacobs, Whelan. Hafley. We finally had the defense, but the offense was brutal.

Since we appear to be all in on Love, Gutey better stock the shelves for him next year to make his job easy. Gutey needs to re-stock CB, WR, and O-line. Similar to last year, with the addition of WR. Maybe Malik (or Jaire) get us something to help in trade.

Gute needs to restock the Packers with more TOUGHNESS
If you mean mental toughness I'll agree. They still make too many mistakes. But I'll not question their physical toughness. Nobody quit in the face of all kinds of challenges today. It was nightmarish to watch our guys dropping like flies. And when they did we didn't have the depth to handle it. By the end of the game our OL was in tatters and we only had 3 WRs in uniform. Quay got hurt again too. With all of this perhaps it is merciful we don't have to play next week.

The defense played well enough to win today, so congratulations to Hafley on a good season. Figures that as soon as we get a decent defense, our offense suddenly becomes a concern.

Jacobs is a beast - that run he made was savage. But he can't continue to be the entire offense.

Think that starts at the top and MLF hasn't exactly brought the fire and thunder.

Dan Campbell brings that fire everyday and the players feed off of that energy. Other than MLF complaining to the refs he's very bland on the sidelines.

Love also seems pretty bland on the field. Maybe that's a refection of his coach, I don't know. It's good that he keeps his cool, but I would like to see some fire out of him now and then (talking about Love here). Tom Brady showed it, and I understand he had some small measure of success.

I think it's pretty immaterial. Jeff George showed a lot of it too. So did Ken O'Brien and Jim Harbaugh. Didn't really do much good for them.

How so, exactly? I mean, coverage has been good. Kicking has been good. What else can he control? Returns have sucked but the NFL has been hell-bent on ruining kickoff returns for a long time now. Speaking of which the new kickoff experiment has been an abject failure. They need to scrap it.

Dud: Yet another playoff game in the past decade where the Packers D plays a great game, and the O doesn't show up. Sadly, there will probably be more playoff games like this in the coming years, because Love isn't that good of a QB.

They have to be able to play smash mouth football from time to time. To do that you either have to leverage the 2 TEs or get a FB. The 2nd and short to Jacobs who loses like 6 yards going straight ahead means we do not have that ability. The 2 scrums to Kraft actually made us look competitive.

In the Rodgers era it was more the other way. We still have a lot of growing up to do.

Actually, I was thinking that statement reminded me of Rodgers. True, it was usually the defense that was the failure - which gave the impression that if we could just fix the defense we'd be okay. But then the defense would have a good game, and the offense would come up flat or missing. Part of that is the result of playing good defenses, but it is none the less frustrating.
