Not be a jerk here, but in what way was just moving forward in front of the receiver a great play? All he did was move forward because AR never saw him and I have no idea how he didn’t see him. That was about as easy of a pick as you will ever see.

He disguised his drop fooled Rogers into throwing it and broke on the ball. Was good imo

Only thing i can think of, and I’m not excusing it, is that Tonyan was carrying the route slightly upfield instead of parallel to the line of scrimmage which lead to the safety being able to undercut. Not an excuse, bad choice by Rodgers, but that’s my only thought.
