Some keep making excuses for Joe Barry, but you can't convince me that Dan Quinn, Todd Bowles, Wink Martindale, Leslie Frazier, etc. wouldn't have this defense considerably better than what they produce week in and week out.

You need to be more discerning about your criticisms. I agree with your post. I think Barry is bad for a lot of reasons. I may have disagreed with your assessment on a few plays, but overall there is no excuse for this many high draft picks to play this poorly.

this is what happens when you crap the bed after starting at the 50 yard line and can’t pick up 5 yards.

I’m not sure who calls the plays but we’ve been doing the exact same thing all season. Nobody on our Staff realized if you get inside their 45 yard line on 3rd n short it’s 4 down territory. It’s really a free play in that series. Yet every time we get past the their 50 we take a sack.
