Hi everyone,

49er fan here, but the Packers have always been my #2 as they are my dad’s team.

We are coming to Green Bay this weekend for the game, my first game and his first trip to Lambeau. It’s been a bucket list item for him so I wanted to make it happen.

With Beathard as QB I’m not expecting as good of a game as if Jimmy G was starting. I’d be surprised if they can pull of an upset, especially if the defense can’t seem to get their act together against better teams.

Either way, looking forward to experiencing everything the city has to offer and seeing one of the greats play in person. The season outlook for the 9ers looks bad, I’d be happy to see the Pack win so dad can get the full atmosphere though. It won’t stop me from wearing my 9er gear and cheering them on though!

I just saw the Bill's game, my first at Lambeau. The people are very friendly, the food is great and you'll be treated well. Your dad will love it

Aaron said his gut is that we are on the threshold of turning the corner. I’m not sure if it happens this week, but I do think we have a sizeable propensity for growth.
If we can keep the turnovers to <=1 and the penalty yardage <=50yds and the self inflicted QB sacks under 65 :whistling: we will actually be hard to beat Monday.
Appears we have Geronimo, Alexander and Whitehead back in the mix and I think we will unleash Aaron Jones on them (due to the pressure of this fan forum on the Packers front office ;))
GB comes out with an attitude, particularly on D, to get after their novice players. GB wins by 2-3 scores here and finally breaks through the Lambeau Ice on Offence.
GB 31 San Fran 17

After minutes of specialized complicated in depth analysis, my highly respected expert opinion is that this game will bring one of three Possible scenarios: Two crazed hungry dogs looking for a win, two broken sad lost puppies wandering the field tinkling all over, or one broken lost puppy getting mauled by a hungry dog. I eliminated the fourth viable scenario that the cheerleaders may be the best thing to watch, for politically correct reasons (gotta protect my university of football tenure... pension thing ya know).

At least you didn't say someone has to win.

We’re going to take this win into the bye and come out week 8 as a new team. Kicking *** and taking names, I fully believe that.

To some extent I think you have to believe that or why waste your time. Its like fishing in a swimming pool, unless you got beer what's the point.

I guarantee they won't finish 8-8. :)
Yes 8-8 is most certainly NOT going to happen . Since they already have a tie. Definitely looking for the offense to take some chances, enough of this conservative playcalling B.S. It's not helping the offense or defense.

Let's see if the boys can somewhat get their act together this week. Get a good win, come out of it healthy, and then there's the two weeks to get ready for the Rams and the tough part of the schedule. I'll go with Packers, 31 to 10.
I like this score. I'll go 34-10.
You guys are a lot more optimistic than I am of coach McMoron letting them get a high score like that.
Has he ever let them have a blowout the way that Dallas did last night against the Jags?

I have yet to see even one glancing obvious camera shot of the Packers cheerleaders as they do for other teams and other games.
Maybe it's because ours don't show enough skin even on warmer days and are just college girls and not possible Playboy models.

Packers have no reason not to win this one by 20.

Gimme GB 38-17.

Will Aaron Jones have more than 15 total touches today?

No, the Packers have never scored 40 points in a game during McCarthy's tenure as the team's head coach  Without double checking it I'm not even sure they ever reached 30.

While I will admit I haven't watch the 49'ers play yet this year, everything I have read indicates that they are not as bad of a team as their 1-4 record would make them look. Their only win is against a team that just beat us, the Lions and their losses were not very lopsided and "statistically" they played fine, they just made some key mistakes to lose the games.

The Packers shouldn't come out tonight thinking this is a gimme win, for if they do and the 49'ers can play mistake free football, watch out.

Even without Allison and Cobb, the Packers sneak one out in a closer game then predicted, Crosby kicks a 53 yarder on the last play of the game to win it 27-24. :coffee:

I'm really starting to get sick of these Cobb injuries!
No kidding. I still think the league needs to find a way to increase each teams roster pool slightly to keep up with the relatively newer era of injury protocols.

Speaking of that, what is going on with the Jags? I don't know who was more in shock watching it myself or my buddy who's a Cowboys fan.

Just watched the NFL announcers riding the bikes to Lambeau Field. Bringing back good memories to Charles Woodson.

Moss still an ***.

Yeah, ya just never know what teams are going to show up to the party.
I expected easy wins in the Washington and Lions games.
Different season, different team, different QB playing on a hurt knee which may be affecting them more than I realized.
