They were giving away tickets during the 70s and 80s and had to play some of their "home" games in Milwaukee.

Uh.....Phil......ya need to brush up on your "history" lesson. The Packers played some games at Milwaukee for 62 years! It's NOT like they just did it cause they couldn't sell tickets. They played in Milwaukee so that fans all around the state could see them. When they left Milwaukee, they gave the season ticket holders there the chance to have what they call "gold package" tickets for 3 games at Lambeau every year.
So......you can TRY to twist the truth all out of shape, but there are those of us here that KNOW the truth. Nice try though!!!

The Packers started playing some (1, 2 or 3) home games in Milwaukee in 1933.
This was done until 1995 when all games were moved to Lambeau.
In part this was done to increase revenue and in part done to project the Packers as a state team.
In the 70's and 80's there was a waiting list for tickets as there is to this day.
