Now that we are out, who'd you rather win this SB?

I don't get why anyone wants the Vikings to go to the SB and lose. People, if they get to the SB, not only can they say they got there -and got there by knocking us out by knocking Rodgers out- but you will never hear the end of them crowing that they are the 1st team to play in a SB on their home field!

How or why have the Vikings adopted the Icelandic chant ?? The vikings are Scandanavian. I dont want them to win purely for that. Go Eagles or Jaguars

Not sure, but they use it a lot in one of my favorite TV Shows......"Vikings"

If you were a Sons Of Anarchy fan, you will love this show.

I saw a movie once and they said the Germans attacked Pearl Harbor and then another movie called Pearl Harbor and the opening scene had the Japanese attacking it. Truth is they faked it like the moon landing. So you can't always trust cinematography when it comes to historical accuracy

Don't know that much about Viking fans, per se, but I find it difficult to imagine anyone could brag about losing, about an obviously bad hit, or about playing a game where the league chooses. I'd be much more likely to hang my head if the Pack lost a SB at Lambeau than a neutral site.

I know a few here in Houston; if it happens, I'll let you know.

You definitely don't know any Vikings fans, they're by far the worst I have been exposed to.

LOL....hard to tell if people are being serious or a lot of this is said "tongue in cheek"?

Personally, I never like or pull for a division rival, especially when that rival is "good". The Vikings were hated by most Packer fans in the 70's, Bears in the 80's and after that......none of the other teams were that relavent to "hate" too much. I never really recall hating the Lions. As far as the team's fans go, I think you are going to find ***hats for fans of just about any major team. I have friends and family that love the Bears and Vikings and they are nice people, they just happen to cheer for a different team than I do. My Grandmother grew up a Bear fan, every Sunday she wore this big old grey Bears sweatshirt. But if the Bears weren't playing, she always rooted for the Packers, Vikings and Lions, because "they are in our division and like family" she would tell me. When my grandmother passed, I took ownership of that sweatshirt and once in awhile I wear it during a non-Packer Bear game. Now if the Bears become relevant again, I may have to stuff that sweatshirt into the back of my closet. I will be pulling for the Vikings to lose tomorrow, not because I don't like their fans, I just don't like a rival team winning.

The sooner in the process the Vikings are eliminated, the better, as far as I'm concerned. That said, even if they end up winning the SB, I won't like it, but I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.

I took that '85 Bears Super Bowl win pretty hard, but I was younger then. And I grew up in Indiana, which was flooded with Bears fans before the Colts came here.

Week 2 would be fine by me even though I know its not possible. Starting 0-8 would likely do it.

I honestly don't know many vikings fans so I'll be OK. Of course if they do win I will suddenly know lots of them I suppose.

Neither am I, in fact I'm going to tell them they had better be very scared when Calvin Ridley puts on a Packer uniform this fall because he will be drafted by us in the first round I can guarantee, and he's got the combination of Julio Jones and Amari Cooper to scorch the vikes corners with. I'll tell ya, bring that guy to Green Bay and the 2011 offense will be back in a heartbeat.

Do you think that they will be crowing about being the first team in history to have lost the Super Bowl on their home field and equaling the Bronco's record of LOSING five Super Bowls games?
I think not!

Eagles traded N. Foles to Rams for S. Bradford. Foles lost his job in St. Louis, C. Keenum takes over. Eagles draft C. Wentz and trade Bradford to Minn. Vikings sign Keenum, who replaces injured Bradford. Foles returns to Philly, replaces injured Wentz. Now, Foles vs. Keenum

Jeff Fisher had both of them

Sounds like 6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon to me.

Part of the joy of being old is that the Viking resurgence doesn't bother me much - you see, the Vikings aren't the F---ing Bears.

*Ok, the Eagles have scored 9 touchdowns since Carson Wentz went down. The Vikings have had a blessed season-I mean God's finger has reached down and touched them this year insofar as WHO they have to defend. No Rodgers (not gonna go there) and no Wentz...

*The Jags (such an appropriate nickname for this group of showboating turds) have been talking sh*t with Bellichik looming on the horizon.

It's not a matter of who I want to win, it's a matter of who I THINK will win. You young guys are going to have to get used to the notion that the Vikings are going to the Super Bowl. You see really, you don't despise the team ... you despise the loudmouth section of Viking fandom. I have a TON of really good...good...Vikings fans that I call friends. These are guys and ladies who attack the 'rivalry' as our very own poster Raptorman does. Keeps it fun, keeps it in perspective... always makes the good argument. I cannot say that I would be upset if a really good Vikings team made it to the Super Bowl and won.

Frankly, I don't care who wins. I don't hate the Pats JUST because they win. I'd like the Eagles to do well because Doug Peterson is their head coach ... ya know? I don't dislike the Vikes from a football perspective again, they've had a TON of happenstance fall their way this year but a degree of luck IS always necessary over the course of an NFL season. The only team I do NOT give a rat's behind about is the Jags. As I said, that defense is manned my crap talking punks who usually get their comeuppance when going head to head with true professionals...and I mean really... BORTLES in the Super Bowl? Talk all you want about the Ravens' titles or Tampa's ... Bortles would be the absolute worst QB to ever win a Super Bowl.

Keenum? Holy Schmolies... all the guy has done is win and has looked pretty darn good in that system doing it. ALL NFL QB's are system QB's ... I don't care what anyone says. This kid ... PAY THE MAN!! With any luck at all, maybe one of our LB's can return the favor next season. Yeah... I said it...and I don't care what anyone thinks about that.

So... in case you can't tell. We're going to have the Vikes and Pats playing the Super Bowl in the Glass Menagerie. So... who is the actual 'home' team? Is it the NFC's year to be the "HOME" team? I think it'd be funny if the Vikes got there and then ended up having to use the Visitor's locker room... Bwahahahahaha....just looked it up. They'd BE the Visitor at their own stadium...

While the AFC champion will be designated the home team for Super Bowl LII the NFL predetermined that the NFC champion would use the Vikings locker room for the game.

Well, I know there is a lot of game left, as we are nearing the end of the 3rd quarter. But as I prepare to retire for the evening (early work tomorrow) I am hoping the butt-kicking the vikqueens are taking right now continues. Have a good night. :)

"Fly Eagles Fly!"

Loved the "Foles" chant, using the Vikings own "Skol" chant

Fire George Edwards! :roflmao:
