I see what you did there Haha. But that’s not the point I was making.

If your point is that Daniels is in decline from his peak, I agree. But I think you’re overstating the case based on a game in which the entire DL struggled.

U guys are such fools the man never got any rest ,because they never substitute and now he might be burnt out Kenny Clark is going in the same direction why once again u guys never substitute so give the man a break , guys like Lowry and Adams u people love but what has it gotten u

Daniels played ~60% of the snaps on defense last year and is playing ~65% this year. They're overplaying Clark right now to be sure, but you're dead wrong that this has been some ongoing issue, especially for Mike.

Is he still on the team?? Hasn’t done much this year at all. Saw him getting man handled in the Niners game, and he’s supposed to be our run stopping D linemen? When’s the last time he made a big play? What about had his name called? He’s been on ice skates more than Tonya Harding. His mouth is big but his play has been small. Just another guy in the defense being way overpaid.
Do u really watch the games ,he takes up space and double teams which is a part of his responsibility

I think Daniels has had a disappointing season up to this point. I’d guess he’s grading out close to average amongst his NFL peers.

PFF has Daniels currently ranked 60th among 107 qualified interior defensive linemen.

That may be true. He's clearly still an above average defensive lineman to me. But the trenchant analysis from the OP (e.g. "he's been on skates more than Tonya Harding") is what I was saying was overstatement. To be fair, that's all some people know how to do. They have two categories for Packer players: 1) OK and 2) The worst piece of human debris to ever strap a helmet on.

And it all depends on what the talking heads said during the previous game, not what they saw themselves or what the replay shows.

A man doesnt go from being so dominant one season to no existent the next. Im watch a totally different game then you then hehe. Hes always doubled and thats why clark is having more of a better season right now. Daniels is a beast still but hes always double. Perry and Clay slacking.
Yeah I think this is a pretty accurate description. Clark is becoming a great player in his own right, but a lot of that success comes from DTs on Daniels. I wouldn’t be so quick to diss Daniels right now.

The premise of this thread looks pretty ridiculous now.

Daniels had a great game vs. the Rams but there's no denying he didn't perform up to expectations over the first six games of the season.

Like I said from the jump, he appears to have taken a step back from his peak. But that's a far cry from what this thread says about him. Hence-- ridiculous.
