Your opinion is that if a person has a bad run, they're worthless. I look at the last two years, where he only missed a total of 2 FG attempts, and say that he's worth giving a chance to get it back in the groove.
I don't have time to belabor this point with you, but your opinion doesn't really matter anyway. What does matter is that the Packers have more common sense about the situation than obviously you do. You can carry on with all the rants and foot stomping you want, it's not going to change things one iota. As of now, you're talking to yourself.
Bravo! Rather than looking to have an intelligent conversation and disagree on things, you chose the route of personal attacks "your opinion doesn't matter anyway", "you can carry on with your rants and foot stomping all you want", (I wasn't) "you're talking to yourself", and condensation "I don't have time to belabor this point with you (obviously, you very much do.)
I'll add to that, you even went the strawman route and chose to put words in my mouth that I didn't say "your opinion is that if a person has a bad run, they're worthless."
For the record, I don't endorse replacing Crosby this season, but at his age, contract, our team salary situation, and looking at several subpar seasons in 3 out of the last 5 years (not just this one), it's absolutely a legitimate topic of conversation after the season. (By the way, the fact that the Packers have protected their practice squad kicker this year *absolutely* is indicative that they are well aware that Crosby forcing their hand on it at some point remains a possibility.)
I'd personally see how things go for now, and if there isn't a significant turnaround, perhaps see if someone like Parker White is available in the late rounds in a rookie deal.
How poorly you chose to respond to my simple outlook on the matter says a great deal about yourself as a poster.
