I always thought that was a great Mantra, and Ronny ? I think the MODERATOR is trying to do you a favour

Definitely improves the likelihood that we'll win, but I can't help but fear that the playoffs are going to be a disaster. Teams are going to be decimated and it'll likely affect the quality of the games. Not good.
I just hope they don't go back to little to no fans in the stands like last season.

All three of the Packers' quarterbacks -- Aaron Rodgers, Jordan Love and the practice squad's Kurt Benkert -- have had COVID-19 this season, so they don't need to test anymore. The soonest Rodgers would be subjected to another test would be the week of the Super Bowl. Love is clear from testing through the Super Bowl.

While the Packers wouldn't need to do anything special for their quarterbacks, coach Matt LaFleur has said he will take the team virtual for everything but practice whenever he feels there's a reason to do so. -- ESPN Packers reporter Rob Demovsky

I knew you would find that humorous LOL - to be fair Poker doesn't do the best at that on EVERY thing, but nearly. Which is pretty dang good these days.

He literally blocks people when they holds opinions that he doesn't like. If that's pretty dang good, then what does bad look like?

Don't get too excited, while our 3 QB's might not be subject to testing, that doesn't mean they still can't catch Covid again. It isn't common to happen again that quickly, but it can.

The Vikings also have backup quarterback Sean Mannion on the COVID-19 reserve list, although it’s possible that Mannion, who went on the list five days ago, could be back by Sunday. If not, rookie Kellen Mond is the next man up, and Kyle Sloter is the other quarterback on the roster in Minnesota.

EDIT: Just saw that Mannion was activated off the list. Guessing he gets the start if he is healthy.

This made me laugh in a "Told you so" way:

Scenario that Zimmer feared

During training camp, all Vikings quarterbacks except Jake Browning missed the team's night practice due to COVID protocols. At that time, head coach Mike Zimmer expressed his frustration with players refusing to get vaccinated and spoke about the problem it could cause late in a season with a playoff berth on the line. The worst-case scenario is unfortunately starting to play out for the Vikings at the end of the season ahead of a must-win game at Green Bay.

It's too bad something like this happens, but it's part of Murphy's Law, isn't it?

Am I correct in saying he loses a week's salary over it?
All vaccinated players get paid if on Covid list. Un-vaccinated ones, that is a bit murky I think.

I thought I remember that, was another incentive to try and get players to vaccinate, as opposed to being immunized. Found one article on it and not sure if the player can attribute to him catching it "on the job", if he gets paid or not.

If we win the Super Bowl, hopefully we're not beating decimated teams that would cause the legitimacy of our title to be questioned.

Maybe on a Run blitz. I think we will see a steady diet of handoffs and short passes.
Absolutely. In that condensed air that sounds logical. Although on our side, in the correct down n distance, it might not be bad to try a few kill shots past 25+ yards etc.. That ball won’t travel the same at 9 degrees. Including on kicks. I wouldn’t attempt any FG’s unless inside the 30 yard line. That 35 yard line area is likely 4 down territory.

Haters are going to question it anyway so the more people missing on the opponents team the better I like it..

So their backup just came off the list and hasn't practiced this week?

That is putting him in a very tough spot. Maybe the Packer defense can have a big confidence building game and get themselves back on track.

I know that was meant more serious. But it’s hilarious to me because it speaks to how bad we must be perceived on D! :roflmao:

Not to play Debbie Downer, but our defense through the years has made some backups look like FHOF'ers! Let's hope Sunday isn't the case.
