Another example.NOBODY wanted Antonio brown. Because of issues diva status a cancer drama etc. I don’t care about that. He is ****** good! Put stats aside of what he actually accomplished with Tampa bay but he 100% no doubt clearly better than anyone besides Davante Adams on the team at wr. Would he have made them better? As a player? The answer is 100000000000% yes teams were to concerned on taking a chance on him. Because of his ****. I would say 95% of y’all wanted nothing to do with him on the team. I get it from a organizational standpoint on personality’s of players but if we talking just talent and skills to make a team better u do it. If someone ****s up then u cut him no questions asked. Fournette brown are good examples of that. There are a laundry list of players through the years. I get the points tho if they are good people or not and good from a teams perspective or don’t want the drama etc. but I’m talking who would make a team better.

I am SUPER glad that the Packers don’t sign slimy idiots like that.

Also the absence of Antonio Brown had nothing to do with Green Bay exiting the playoffs.

Do u agree if the packers actually surrounded Rodgers with more talent through the years they would have won one or more Super Bowls with him?

I definitely agree.

and Ted built a super bowl winner in Seattle, built one in GB and built another one that choked in '14 I don't care who or what he signed, i'm confident he knows more than you.

Thompson was a great general manager for most of his tenure with the Packers but he doesn't deserve any credit for the Seahawks winning a Super Bowl nine years after he left.

i was thinking super bowl teams and wrote winners. How about I write super bowl capable teams, since they did in fact make it to one with a team he helped build the year he came to GB. Though they lost.

Did you really think I was meaning a team a decade later, or the team 1 year later?

Nice I like the list you made! Corner is definitely a position they should sign a vet in as well as receiver. Then go into the draft looking at BPA I am watching all the news at nfl network today cuz it’s fun. Tom just reported that Green Bay is one of the teams reported interested in joe thuney. Which is odd cuz he is gonna be the highest paid guard. However they always mention Green Bay as a team “interested” in players. I don’t know what they gonna be able to do anything with the cap. But I fully expect a z smith and Adams extension done by wed and hopefully Rodgers restructured as well. It would be nice to plug some holes before the draft they don’t need anything to **** to happen just some solid starters out of it. Hayward Hilton Corey Davis Desmond king Sherman Peterson would be nice

It would be nice if they tender tonyan at a second and someone signed him. Even a third would be good. I think he was solid but I’d be okay with him leaving for sure they have sternberger and deguara who can’t seem to stay healthy but they don’t need all of them especially if Lewis will be back which I expect

I wouldn't be opposed to a receiver if the right guy was there, but I would prefer a solid veteran LB and DL help in addition to corner.

Dalvin Tomlinson would be punishing but his price likely to be high

Yeah, it would be unnecessary in my opinion to spend a premium on a run stuffer like him. There are lots of veteran DL who could help in the running game and should be much cheaper because of age.

Keep snacks get him a whole offseason in the team should help since he was a non factor in the playoffs. He can still be valuable against the run and will likely be cheap

Snacks
Veldheer
Lane Taylor

All 3 to various degrees intrigue me from a cost vs contribution standpoint or potential.

Sternberger has been healthy for 18 out of 32 games and has 2TD's on 12 catches in those 18 games. Deguara played in 2 games before blowing his ACL... and THAT'S who you want on the '21 roster along with Lewis??

GB has FINALLY found a competent/good 3 down TE and you would be happy to get a 2nd round pick for Tonyan? IMHO that's foolish.

I would be totally fine keeping Tonyan. He did a great job with what he was asked to do. He’s got good hands and the speed to get to his landmarks in a hurry.

But those things are also balanced by the reality that most of his production is schemed for him rather than the result of beating a defender. He is virtually never asked to line up and beat a guy who has him in man coverage.

So keeping him would be a good thing. I’m all for it. But he is not irreplaceable.

IMO, Tonyan has proven to be a good fit on this team and works well with Rodgers. He’s a good and instinctive player that appears to be ascending. I’d be surprised if the Packers are not working very hard to keep him.

Corey Linsley to sign a deal with the Chargers to make him the highest paid center in the NFL.

Their interest in fuller is pretty well known, mlf was with him at notre dame. His injury history and now ped history scare me...

I'm not a big fan of samuel and I certainly hope the Packers don't sign him to a big deal. I think he goes to jacksonville

Golladay is intriguing, he's like an allen robinson and I know had the bears not tagged him gutey would be after him. I think he'd be a great signing for the Packers although he could end up being too expensive. I could see the Packers being in on him at around 14 million per but any more than that idk

I think maybe the most realistic option is ty hilton on a 8-10 m per 3 year deal...

I'd be happy with golladay or hilton, a bit weary with fuller but still excited about the possibility, I'd be least stoked on samuel

Edit: also like corey davis for 10-12 m per same range I'd be ok with a will Fuller deal I guess

I've been pounding the table on Samuel for weeks now.

He had 81 yards in 4 playoff games... I hardly think that was irreplaceable production.
