Studs-Jaire Alexander : Mr. Shut Down! Difference in the game was his performance vs. Lamb in the first half.
Aaron Jones, Doubs
J Love- He made plays by buying time with his feet and then making beautiful throws. Most NFL QB's panic while he keeps his cool under pressure.
Dan Quinn- He kept calling a soft zone even after getting repeatedly burned by Doubs and Love. Was he channeling Joe Barry? Unbelievable dumb coaching. Glad he was a Cowboy.

Duds- Carlson- please just practice extra points from now on!
Rashon Gary- I think it's time to put out a missing person's bulletin on him. 1 tackle and nothing else.

Studs: Love. Love. Love. Savage. Doubs. Jones. And Love. MLF and the entire coaching staff.

Duds: anyone nitpicking a signature win that we will be talking about 20 years from now with smiles on our faces.
To me it was a statement drive when they won the toss and channeled “ we want the ball and we’re going to score” mode. That first drive was a statement and they just kept adding exclaimation points!

What was everyones thought when Carlson missed another extra point? Thought so.....
Have you ever been so irritated you wanted to choke someone all the way down to the floor?
Na. It was ok because he came right back out after the J’aire pick and earned his way out of Timeout punishment.

Basically everyone was a stud, but special shout outs to Love and Jones

No true duds but a couple of things. Really a small issue but because MLF called a pass on that last throw which was incomplete, Love lost his perfect passer rating. Really wanted him to have that.

The defense was also too soft at the end.

But feels weird to complain about anything, that was a great win
I thought we took out D starters in the 4th?

Another reason why I'm thrilled we won is now perhaps that moron Michael Irvin on the NFL Network will shut the hell up about "his Cowboys" and how they were going to roll over the Packers. It got so nauseating I had to change the channel this morning.
Besides him Jerry and Aikman and Garrett are not feeling so well. I do feel for the Moose. He was and always is a class act.

Again with that?

He will be gone

Enjoy the win
The consistent PAT misses by Carlson are irritating - but to your point, he'll be gone, and who cares when Love has a 158 rating and the whole team gets a "stud" award?

That game was very, very close to perfect. We will remember that game for a long time, no matter what happens next week. But what the hell? There's no reason to not expect a win against the Niners.

He's fickle. Less than 12 hours later his tone changed considerably. Google his reaction

Moon and stars aligned perfectly. I had to do a double take when Savage stepped in and did what he does best (run fast in a straight line). Waited for a good spot to make his annual excellent play. When that happened I knew it was our day. I don't remember the last time we opened up a can of whoopass like that. It seems to have been a while since we wrecked someone that bad.

I'm off today and god help me, I'm watching ESPN ... they're ranting about "The Dallas Disaster". It's as though someone assassinated the Pope, Mother Teresa and Ghandi with one bullet.

You knew this this was going to be all about Dallas. What happened what does it mean what's next blah blah blah. But to get up show has been about Dak and the Cowboys literally every single day all season long

This one kind of reminded me of the 2011 fiasco vs. the Giants. We were 15-1 and expected to repeat. MM is feeling much the same again.
To me Love was the STUD of studs.
Not because of all the TD throws, passer rating, or any other data point you want to talk about.
It was in the little things he did that can easily go unnoticed.
We were visting our son and his family yesterday( they are big eagles fans. I'm the only pack fan in the bunch), so they know football. They had the game on and when we got about half way thru the 3rd qtr and the score was blowing up in our favor my son commented several times, your QB is really smart. I'm watching him, and on every play he lets the clock get down to the last second or two before taking the snap. He's squeezing every second he can out of the clock with this big lead. Just what you want to do while still keeping the chains moving.
Another thing that caught my eye was that throw to Musgrave.
It was a high looping pass that Musgrave had to wait on, which allowed a defender time to get over to him. You might think in that situation if love had thrown a line drive zinger instead it would have gotten to Musgrave much faster, but that would be a wrong conclusion.
Love was being rushed by a defender who had his arms raised up. Love was on his back foot kind of leaning backwards. If he tries to throw a quick line drive, most likely it gets blocked, with us having a wide open guy who receives nothing. Instead his instinct was to throw that high arc, over the outstretched arms of the rusher, which at least would have a chance of success.
Love is one smart dude!! We are so fortunate to have him

Just figure if we can score 7 TDs again he'll make 6 PATs.
Kind of agree. I just assume he's going to miss one every week. I just am more concerned that he convert his field goals.

I disagree. I think the 49ers and Ravens got more love and respect than the Cowboys did this year from the national media. I also think they earned it.

MLF certainly thought it was in doubt, so he brought the starters back in after he pulled them out.
They only needed one onside kick. Just one guy to make a mistake there or a great kick. Still very tough to tie it but possible.
