Yes I got lazy last week and didn’t do all the ERFAs and also the deals last couple days. Will be something I do Monday morning. Apologies
Please, do not apologize. The stuff you and a few of the others do saves me mucho time. I hate looking up things myself. I am more of an eye test and take pride in my memory old school type of guy.

Hey, don't let him off the hook THAT easy. Shaggy pays him a lot of money to do these things, so no slacking!

3 year, $7 Mil/year. Could end up being a bargain. Once the Packers extend Jaire, they should be set for 3 more years at CB. Finally, the Packers have a secondary worthy of talking about. Now all they need to do is shore up that defensive line. Oh and sign a FA starting WR, as well as draft one in round 1. :)

Our depth may take a hit due to needing cheaper guys to fill the backup roles but I do like the way our starting lineup is shaping up. Major need can easily be addressed in the draft with the extra 1st and 2nd rounders plus we do have some FA money now and maybe even more if they extend Jaire.

Defense, like you said, secondary is pretty much set. LBs are good. Could use another DL or 2, maybe find a guy or like Ming in FA or even Ming himself and the draft.

Offense QB and RB are set. WR is a huge need and I think the FA market is pretty much dried up for Bona Fide #1 guys but there are still plenty to make a lower tier #1 and decent #2 to go with who we have and hopefully a rookie steps up right away. Guys I wouldn't mind are Landry, Watkins, maybe Fuller, Hilton, Crowder, and a few other guys, even MVS. Getting maybe 2 of those guys. There always Julio if the price is right but I'd be worried about injuries. If he's healthy he would be a more than fair replacement for Adams. OL is a question with injuries but we have a lot of draft picks and maybe a second tier FA.

All in all not as bad as I was expecting the way the cap looked a month ago.

I would love it if they signed Julio, at the right price, even with his injury history. It isn't like Davante, Cobb and other WR's haven't gotten hurt. Like you said, when healthy, I think a decent replacement for Adams and a good motivator of the young WR's. His injury history and age will keep him affordable. I see them using the #22 on a WR, if one of the top 3 falls, otherwise, the 28th. I'm hoping for a run on QB's, CB's, OL and even the edge guys, before our two picks come up.

Okay I believe the OP is up to date. Double checked but only had one cup of coffee so far this morning. If anyone noticed someone I missed let me know. Should reflect all the ERFAs tendered, Lazard tendered, Adams traded, the cuts and Campbell signing posted. The Douglas and the Tonyan deals are unknown but they are listed.

I am hoping they don’t wait to try and get one of the top guys, they need to trade up as far as I am concerned

IMO.....there are probably 4-5 WR's that I would be happy with, if the Packers got them with their #22 pick. I just can't see all of them coming off the board before the Packers are up. Now waiting around until #28, might have them repeating what happed a few years ago when they didn't pull the trigger fast enough and didn't draft any WR's. There is also a pretty nice tier of 2nd-3rd round WR's that I would love to pair with a first rounder, but I doubt the Packers grab 2 with their first 5 picks.

Agreed, one of th top 5 will likely be available at 22, waiting for 28 would be pretty foolhardy. I am not sure if any of those guys are NFL ready ala recent guys like chase and jefferson

To me highest floors out the gate for me I rank them London, Olave, Burks, Wilson and Williams (injury puts him here)

It’s neck and neck for me at top though, Olave had to start dealing with other first round type guys the last two years and kept producing, says a lot and any guy that was in the argument for WR1 for the year prior before not declaring is impressive (Olave)

Packers signing dt Jarran Reed.
Excellent signing...if it is at the right price of course. Fills a big need for sure.

I believe that he played for around $7M last year for the Chiefs, I don't see him getting more than that for sure and would expect it to come in around $4-5M/year.

Few aged veteran UFAs I think are worth knocking tires on might be:

Jarran Reed - This should be the most productive guy on this list IMO - signed for $5M one year deal last year and played on 60%+ of the snaps putting up 43 tackles, 2.5 sacks (7 in 2020) and 2 FF. He is a guy to circle and if he gets past the first wave of FA signings could be that "steal" type guy.

He was one I said I wanted to target. I’m a very happy camper right now

It is starting to look like WR in the 1st and 2nd rounds.

Gute has always been the king of filling depths he can to minimize dire needs entering a draft.

Granted that isn’t happening at WR because he’d need to sign two decent FAs to make it not a pressing need.

Happy about the Reed signing. Not only has Clark finally gotten somebody on the d line to help him avoid so many double teams, but Reed can get after the qb for an IDL guy. He has 24 sacks in 89 career games. Reed and Clark together will be a tough assignment for other o lines to keep them out of the qb's face! Clark must be tickled about the move.

I’d say that is a good guess.
Unless there’s a substantial move before the draft I can see something like
#22 WR/Edge
#28 Edge/WR
#53 WR/OT
#59 OT/WR
#92 DT/TE
#132 TE/DT
#140 LB/S/CB
#171 S/CB/LB

I think he can pull that off. He just signed a DT that fills that need, although, depending on the length of the contract, as well Slayton, spending one of the first 4 picks on iDL isn't a bad idea.

I think before the draft we see 2 FA WR's signed. One will be a big name on a one year and the other a guy that has underperformed due to working with average QB's.

I also think that given that MVS hasn't signed with the Packers or another team, he either wants too much $$ and/or the market for him wasn't that strong.

True that. Aside from 1 semi great season 2 years ago in 2020
680/20.9 6TDs

MVS is really a 1 trick pony (and only moderately good at that). That’s with the league MVP throwing. What’s he capable of with an average QB?

Add to that recent minor injury concerns.

He’s a guy that would be overpaid at $10m annual and underpaid at $2M. I have his market at $5-7m
IF he’s 100% healthy.

I’d let him experience the real world and tell him if he wants to stay we’d be players at 2yr X $8m with 50% guaranteed, but we are already heading a different direction,
but will hold off for 48 hours for a firm decision to allow him to digest that

We could likely have Cole Beasley for that neighborhood +- While somewhat redundant, it would by us time and give us a reliable, savvy veteran as insurance.

The #Packers are signing DT Jarran Reed, per source. He was there on a visit today.

I know I've harped on it, but Gute knows and understands the power of CB...yes we signed Rasul, but let's not forget just last year we entered the season with Jaire, first rounder, King and Sullivan - and still needed a "street" acquisition of Rasul to put us in the running for a ship.

I would not hesitate if the right CB is there and I'm picking and Gute I bet agrees. It may shock folks and some may even disagree but Jaire extension is no promise and after our first 3, do we really think SJC is ready for the big time...or Ento? Maybe...

As long as they resign Rasul, this absolutely solidified an already good defense, with the final starter. It also took a lot of pressure off of trying to fill the spot in the draft and frees up one of those top 4 choices. Depending on what the Packers think of their backups at each position group, they can backfill that through the draft and some mid round picks.

What does this do for the draft? On defense, I might put S, OLB and CB at the top of my *keep an eye on a guy falling list*. Otherwise, I would literally go after offensive picks with those first 4 picks. 2 WR's, 1 OL, 1 TE. If a defensive guy that they just can't pass on, falls to them in rounds 1 or 2 and they don't like the board on offense, than obviously grab him.

I'm on board with ya Tine...if a top CB falls and the Packers are wavering on extending Jaire after this year....go for it.
