Agree...yet some here are saying repeatedly to cut Lowry LOL

My not better than Lowry comment was more meant I don't feel he is, not that I wouldn't give his phone a jingle for sure would.
Lowery had a much better 2021, than his 2 previous seasons. Not sure if that was due to him, the players around him or the new DC. Hard to justify cutting Lowery, because you really can't sign someone as good as him, for what you save. If the Packers don't find a FA guy they view as a starter, I see them using a high pick in the draft on one or wait to pick one up after the draft.

According to Spotrac.com, there are six teams with at least $25 million in salary cap space remaining: Colts ($54.9m), Jets ($42.6m), Seahawks ($39.2m), Panthers ($30.4m), Bears ($30.3m) and Raiders ($27.3m). Three of those teams are likely in the quarterback market.

Here the Packers are, trying to get under the cap.:laugh:

Anyone hear anything about Packer punter Corey Bojorquez? Hate losing this guy, seems like we finally had a solid punter.

Rams just released Hekker and are expected to sign Bojorquez (who they traded to GB last year to keep Hekker).
I wondered if that might be the case. Damn it. Bojo obviously likes L.A. He was too good of a deal on a one year, but I wouldn't overspend on him or Hekker.

Not gonna lie I'm unsure on how I feel about this. Not only 33 but has missed time lately - only seeing 19 games over the last two seasons combined. He however has been productive still when active and healthy.
Spot on and why he might come cheap enough to afford. He has to be itching to play on a winner and with 2 down years, due to injury, if he has it in him, what better place to land than with #12 in Green Bay.

Honestly I bet a #12 is throwing to him in 2022...

I know he has had 2 seasons of being injured, but hard to ignore this stat and I don't see Davante on that list, but he is #25 @ 70 yds/game:

Most receiving yards per game in NFL history

Julio Jones: 91.9
Justin Jefferson: 91.4
Calvin Johnson: 86.1
Michael Thomas: 85
Antonio Brown: 84.2
DeAndre Hopkins: 77.8
Cooper Kupp: 77.7
Torry Holt: 77.4
OBJ: 76.7

I just worry he is still going to garner a decent clip of change....if he could do a $2M-$4M deal Gute might side eye Russ enough to make it work...

Imagine a WR room of like Adams, Jones, Cobb, Lazard, Christian Watson (rookie) and Amari Rodgers....
Oh just stop....teasing me!

Julio has been my dream WR, well before Davante came along. Just something about the guy that is dynamic. Between him and Megatron, I have nightmares of Packer DB's having to cover them.

Z Dog signing back with the Ravens.

That is about what I expected....but it odd if rumor is true that Gute offered to pay him same in 2022 as he was owed in 2021 he walked...I suspect that wasn't true but it was making the rounds of the web.

I also got the impression that whatever the Packers did last offseason with his contract, he was miffed about and wasn't coming back. He was such a "Rah Rah Green Bay guy" on arrival, but when it comes down to it, most are going to go where the money is. Also, in his defense, he might be going back to a place he loves.

This is sad, but true. Huber mentions how top heavy the roster is, "Packers have seven players consuming 46.5 percent."

Top heavy is to be expected when GB is paying for the top paid QB & soon-to-be WR, and the 2nd highest paid LT. Alexander will join these ranks soon, also. This truly is "All In" with cap hell crashing into GB in 3 years. :(

Any news on our ERFA's? Needed to be tendered by 3pm today.

@TomSilverstein

The #Packers did not release anyone today, according to the NFL's transaction wire. That means they did some contract restructuring to get under the cap, most likely with WR Randall Cobb. Possibly others.
