Rodgers has definitely been hampered by the knee injury he suffered vs. the Bears. Hopefully he will be back at 100% after the bye week.

While less-than-perfect, he did look noticeably better against San Francisco than he did a week earlier against Detroit. How much of that is a factor of improved health or a woeful 49ers defense is anyone's guess.

Rodgers, while on top of his game, still makes a huge difference compared to most other quarterbacks in the league. Unfortunately he hasn't performed at this level for at least part of some games this season.

I'm wondering if it's Rodgers, or his supporting cast that he's not performing at a higher level.
We'll find out after the bye-week.

I think it's obvious Rodgers has played his part in the sputtering of the offense.

I agree, but to be fair he has been hurt. The Packers are actually #2 in yards, which is damn good, but 22nd in red zone offense (not so good).

He is. I was worried about that from the start. First it’s limited mobility, then after a few weeks of altered biomechanics and compensation for the injury and things start showing up in other facets like accuracy in throwing. Shoulder and elbow have been doing a lot more work since the injury. Stuff starts to show up later. I haven’t dissected his throwing motion, but his accuracy is not the same

the 49er's defense isn't woeful. and their dline is pretty good.

They do have a good defense but they're not built on pressuring the QB (25th in sacks and none of their defensive players are great pass rushers) which is where Rodgers' knee would conceivably come into play. It was a good sign that the offense found ways to get balls to Adams and played well though, not trying to take that away.

Optimistic. I am hoping (especially after the lions game) that all of our bad ju ju is out of the way and we can right the ship and make a run. I think with Alexander getting healthy and if Breeland is healthy and contributes, this defense may be top 8 by year's end. Offensively I think they are still trying to figure out how to use the new weapons we have, effectively.

Rodgers had some bad throws against the Niners as well though.

The Packers are currently only tied for 15th in points scored though.
