I could be wrong, but it sounds like AZ and KC are a bit similar on both sides of the ball? Mobile QB, decent weapons on offense. On defense, a front that will try to keep Rodgers under pressure all night. So coming off a game with AZ and preparing for KC, should be somewhat similar.

We may have Melvin Ingram to deal with. Sounds like the Steelers just traded him to the Chiefs for a 6th.
Ingram wasn't seeing the field in Pittsburg. Anything is an upgrade to the Chief's defense, but it still doesn't worry me. The Packers are going to put up some points. Once we get over our redzone hiccups we will be very dangerous.

First off, and don't get me wrong, I've got off topic too, but we have an Aaron Rodgers performance thread. Can we use that to talk about Rodgers? Just asking for @realitybytez friend.

It's crazy to say this but our WRs essentially got a buy week to rest up and we still managed to beat the #1 team in the league. Sounds like we should get them all back and against a pretty bad Chiefs defense. Use this week of practice to get back on the same page, gel a bit, and take it to them. I mean, if Daniel Jones can toss two TDs I'm guessing Rodgers can at least do that.

Also, I wasn't super impressed by the Chiefs offense. Mahomes went into the game saying he needed to quit forcing the long ball and just take what the defense was giving him. There were a lot of dump offs and I can live with that. They only scored twenty points against against a defense that was ranked in the bottom ten of the league and giving up around 25 points per game. In theory, they should have lit them up, but they didn't.

It's the NFL and it is any given Sunday. However, I'm liking the Packers chances here.
Having watched the entire game last night, Daniel Jones is just so bad. The fact that his team got that close to beating the Chiefs at Arrowhead is a big time indictment on where the Chiefs are currently.

And I'm not including you in this, PB. Because I don't believe you share this thought. But MANY are so disappointed that he's been on his best behavior since coming back and leading his team to the best record in the league. They wanted so badly to be right about Rodgers wanting to sabotage the Packers that they can't even enjoy the success.
Not in the slightest young PA, not in the slightest. I just didn`t like this ever happening. I`m a Packer fan no matter what.

Back to the "covid watch". 3rd string QB Kurt Benkert tested positive today. Let's hope he hasn't been sitting too close to #12 in the QB room!

Ingram played 62.3% of the defensive snaps during the first six games with the Steelers this season.

Interesting, you are a stat master. My info came from an article I read and clearly they do not do deep dives like you do. Maybe he wanted 65% of the snaps and the Steelers told him he's out! That is where they drew the line!

Not much of a difference, but OTC has him playing 54.2% snaps on D, 7.0% ST snaps for 61.2% which supports your point that Ingram DID see the field significantly for Pittsburgh.

"Ingram is reportedly upset with his lack of play time after taking the field for just 26% of the Steelers' defensive snaps in Week 6."

This is where I read it.

I agree though, I think averaging over 50% of snaps on defense is more than enough to keep a player happy. Regardless, he gone!

The Chiefs are on the hook for $597,222 with Ingram. I would say they came out pretty good on that deal.

And he will probably see a significant increase in playing time. from 63% to at least between 68% and 70%.

Rodgers tested positive for COVID-19 and will not play on Sunday per Tom Pelissero.

Jordan Love put in a tough spot against Patrick Mahomes and one of the best home field advantages in the NFL.

Well THAT changes the complexion of this game :( . Hopefully use the same game-plan as AZ, get the ball out quickly, move the chains on long methodical drives to keep Mahomes on the sidelines.

The media spoke too soon about this being the first ever meeting between Rodgers and Mahomes.

Per NFL Network, Rodgers is unvaccinated despite having told Rob he is immunized. Wow. Aaron wow.

I hope Love plays completely lights out Sunday and puts all the quarterback talk to rest.

Yeah, maybe not, but you never know...
