That I think is going to be key in this game. I also am guessing that Bulaga will play, which means that Atlanta will also probably have a hard time getting to Rodgers. If this was on a neutral field, I would pick the Packers because I think that the Packers have a somewhat better defense and I don't see a clear advantage on either side on offense--they are both powerhouses with MVP QBs. Since it's in Atlanta however, I have to give the nod to the Falcons. A victory here by the Packers would be huge.

Well, looks like I spoke too soon. Bulaga and now Bahk is on the injury list. Here comes the annual injury parade. Great.

I'm assuming Bahk will play and Bulaga won't. I guess that's why Pankey was activated. The OL is really becoming a concern.

I was worried about Bulaga when they acted like, he'll just sit out the last couple weeks of the preseason and be back for a real test in Seattle, and then he wasn't.

At the moment the Falcons defense should be considered a better unit as they already performed on a pretty high level over the second half of last season while the Packers struggled mightily for most of 2016.

Green Bay's unit playing extremely well against the Seahawks, an opponent they have had the numbers against for some reason, doesn't change that in my opinion.

Sunday at Atlanta will be a true indicator of the unit's talent level.

cap, this time i'm going to disagree with you. our front 7 will give ryan a hard time. I think our backs are fired up, and will sneak through that line without any problems. This is going to be a scary front 7, cap. hopefully helps out our secondary. this game will prove that our d is legit and will put any doubt to rest. the way we attacked the seattle's O line wasn't ok they demolished them. I doubt that our past front 7 would have played that well, despite it was our first game.

You have to realize the Seahawks offensive line is atricous though. I hope you're right but remain skeptical until the defense dominates against better competition.

Bulaga missed yesterday's practice because of an illness though. I guess there's a chance of him playing Sunday.

With the injuries to the OL and untested and unproven backups behind them, this looks like a game that may have to be won by the defense.

And pray that Rodgers makes it out in one piece. One thing's for sure about that Atlanta defense, they'll be trying to lay some wood on him.

oh trust me it was nothing bad towards him. just wondering why management would have the guy come in and then sent home again because of his illness. or was it a blunder on packers.com who put that in their headlines. and if I did say anything bad to these players in person i'd probably be yards away with a mic in my hand. :ninja:

Was it 2015 when Bak was hurt? I think the Packers had to patchwork the OL that year and Rodgers was always running for his life.

If Bak plays, will he be effective? Is it going to make things worse? Just can't wrap my head around the hammy injuries every year.

Considering these injuries take weeks to recover from I'm hoping his isnt severe otherwise if minor could still affect his performance but i dont think it's all that bad if he suited up. I doubt they would let him go full gear if they were concerned

Hoping the Packer coaches are studying the game film from last years Super Bowl and how James White turned that game around for the Patriots against the Falcons defense. We have a similar RB in Monty and the Packers need to use him in that same way on Sunday. If we can't run against the Falcons, make them play up to stop the short screens to Monty and then start looking for deeper passes to other receivers. The Bears seem to exploit that same strategy on Sunday with success. Monty and Marty B could both be in for a good day!

Also, hoping to see what Dial and Odom can do on defense. I doubt we see a lot of them, but with Brooks possibly out with a concussion, Odom might see some snaps.

Saw the injury report for the falcons, it doesn't look like they have many important pieces missing. The only important player I know of off the list is Ishmael I wonder if it'll make any difference for them.

Kemal Ishmael, S - Hamstring - Limited Participation
Alex Mack, C - Back - Limited Participation
Austin Pasztor, T - Chest - Full Participation
Duke Riley, LB - Knee - Limited Participation
Eric Saubert, TE - Hamstring - Limited Participation

I'd be fine if Julio Jones and/or Matt Ryan came down with some kind of mysterious ailment that kept them from suiting up on Sunday. :whistling:
