Agreed. Five games is not nearly enough of a sampling of work to make any definitive statements on how good an QB can be. For our own Packers, decades ago, Don Horn came in as QB for one game as a Packer starter and set the world on fire with his record performance. It was one game. It never materialized again. The Wisconsin Badgers. Three seasons ago, Graham Mertz lit up Illinois in a record setting game, then proceeded to stink up the field until he finally transferred out before this season.... fortunately.
I'll wait and see how it shakes out down the road.
