I understand what your saying but MLF wasted a timeout early, I have been critical of him of this all season
Actually, Rodgers used the 1st one, MLF used the final 2 in the last minute of the game to try and give the offense time on the clock if SF went ahead.

Twitter is having fun with this:

Everyone stop making fun of Aaron Rodgers, he hates being needled.

Fun fact: Aaron Rodgers isn’t immunized against another playoff loss vs the 49ers.

AARON RODGERS GOT HIS ASS CANCELLED FROM THE PLAYOFFS

We all thought Aaron Rodgers had a shot, which has happened before

Aaron Rodgers’ playoff run thwarted by snowflakes, cancel culture strikes again

Congratulations to Jimmy Garoppolo on replacing Dr Fauci as Aaron Rodgers’ least favorite Italian

Cant stand to watch the SB if Brady is in it again, yes he is the GOAT, but I’ll admit I’m a hater, jealous, all those things that will have me completing my honey do list instead of seeing him get another ring, there I said it
Look at the bright side. IF Brady makes it again, at least it won't be because he beat the Packers.

Duds are the entire offense and Special teams. Also Lafluer getting out coached again(what a shocker!!)

Studs are the defense. What a wasted performance and if I'm them Im pissed at the offense being chokers.

studs: the D especially Rashan and Barnes
duds: LaFleur for not firing ST coach when he should have. Rodgers for looking almost exclusively for Adams. Some throws to Jones in the first half but he was eyeballing Adams all night. Not throwing the one to Deguara (where he threw to a covered Cobb) was ridiculous. Hard to take. Can't believe he did not try and spread it around more.

Is there anything in the past 5 years which would have led you to believe he would spread it around more? As soon as something doesn't go right, he panics and gets tunnel vision. In this game, the catalyst was Lewis's fumble. This is his well-established pattern in the playoffs.

Were you born after the Eagles 4th and 26 game? Or maybe after the meltdown in Seattle?

Just sayin'. Packers have built quite the history in the last 20 years of epic losses in the playoffs.
Nope, I saw both. I saw Vick and Colin K run wild on us, I saw us blow a 4th quarter lead in the NFC Championship against Dallas, I saw T.O. make "the catch" after they missed "the fumble". I'm humiliated by the consistent postseason failures of this organization and their refusal to hold bad coaches accountable leading to losing important games.

A few thoughts.

The offense should have played better, but ultimately, 10 points would have been enough to win the game without the special teams meltdown. The defense played as well as we could have hoped. If you had told me that the defense wouldn't give up a touchdown, and the Niners would only kick two field goals, I would have thought we had a 99% chance of winning. We outplayed them on both offense and defense. Stating the obvious here, but Drayton is going to get fired.

I wasn't a huge fan of the playcalling. The passing attack had completely stagnated by the 4th quarter and I felt LaFleur got away from the running game a bit too much. The most successful drive in the second half saw a heavy dose of runs. Not that the run game was ripping through the Niners' defense, but the passing attack had completely stalled.

Normally, I'm not big on trying to infer what's happening on the sideline, because we really don't know. But I felt in the second half that Rodgers was so frustrated with the offense's performance that he just looked defeated. He looked totally dejected. His body language was awful. I had no confidence whatsoever that he would lead a scoring drive after he came onto the field following the blocked punt. Hard to say what the future holds, but this is going to be a tough loss for Rodgers to stomach. I doubt it increases his desire to come back to Green Bay.
I wonder if losing Dillon hurt us more than we realize? We HAVE to find a better #2 WR than MVS or Lazard.

The franchise is at a halt.

If Aaron comes back, we'll compete for 3-4 years.

If not, we're cooked for a decade +

This sucks man.
I don’t want to be Rodgers Cap heavy and cutting players at every turn and also kicking void years across our Roster for fancy regular season stats. He either helps fix our cap dilemma or he’s going to magically morph into a 150,000,000 of cap space over the next 4-5 seasons. Plus a slew of young college studs

Dud: Matt LaFleur. He failed us. He failed us by not firing Maurice Drayton when he had a chance. He failed us consecutive years as the #1 seed, being unable to translate any success to the postseason.

Matt LaFleur was again embarrassingly outcoached in a playoff game. He failed us, again.

I’ll always be a Rodgers fan and will keep his Jersey,I wish him luck if decides to leave.
If he decides to leave I hope he likes retirement. The only way he leaves is if we trade him.
Actually, he was an assistant to both Zook and Mennenga.

This formation of 10 men, even after a time out by the 9'ers.

I doubt only having 10 guys out there would have effected this play...

Tom Brady is without a #2 receiver as well. The Bucs scored 31 points last weekend, and I'm guessing they will score more than 13 points tomorrow too.

I also think they got too cute with Bahk. They thought they could get by without him and wanted to protect him for the next round, when the reality is that he should have been out there tonight if possible at all.

They got burned by Billy Turner in the playoffs last year and inexplicably went back to the well again.

From the moment I heard Turner announced as the starting LG I no longer felt good. Just a terribly coached game by MLF.

Was not a fan of Turner going to LT, seems like the same mistake as last year. Our tackles got whipped all game again. It's a pretty steady reason for losing in big games. We needed to keep having some success in the run game and not commit penalties. The 9er's were playing everything tight, they knew they could. My brother texts, we need to run a screen, and i'm like it won't work. They're all playing so close and downhill so fast because they know we'll never have time to hit deeper and we tried one. he texts back, don't do that again LOL it was horrible. A lesser QB has 3 fumbles and 2+ INT's last night in that weather/temp and pressure.

They had no fear of nothing that took any time to develop, they didn't have to. Our tackles were getting their ***** kicked and we don't have a TE on the team worth a **** in the passing game. When the LB'ers are playing that fast downhill you hit a couple seam passes or clear out the middle quick with a play action and WR's outside and TE slides in behind and the chains keep moving.

But beyond that, the 49ers had a half of field to play on offensively and our offense had a full field to drive consistently all night. that's a big difference.

and then our special teams, our special special teams. part of the reason the field was flipped all night and 10 points in a tight game.

What makes you think that Rodgers would be any more likely to throw to someone else? When the going gets tough, Rodgers looks for his security blanket. Nothing makes me believe that will ever change.

And what makes you think it was possible at all?
