I think Cobb stays he is young still and plus he is Rodgers best friend I don’t think he goes anywhere idk tho depends on what kind of market he would have
Now that he’s here (and unless he’s traded) let’s see how Cobb does this year. He has all the motivation he needs. He’ll frequently have big games during the course of year - yeah Washington was a big exception. But he’s here, Rodgers likes him, one more chance. And, who else would be an improvement at a reasonable price?

Rodgers likes him and his best friend?

Please, that isn't a reason to keep anyone. Jordy ring a bell?

That’s why I suspect we could hear about a Montgomery extension soon. He’s proving to be valuable in both the running and passing game and we don’t have any money sunk into the RB position. I can see the Packers giving him a 3 year 10 Million extension next month.

In my opinion the Packers shouldn't offer Montgomery a deal like that, they would overpay for him in that case.

PFF has currently graded Clinton-Dix as a top 10 safety but after watching his performance closely over the first three weeks I definitely don't agree with them.

The question isn't about watching him, it's whether you've also watched all the other safeties. That's the value of a site like PFF, being able to actually grade someone relative to every one else.

Mostly I agree with PFF's analysis but in my opinion they're off ranking Clinton-Dix amongst the best safeties in the league.

I'm not trying to say he's the 7th best safety. I tend to view their rankings as a relative thing, I don't look at it and honestly believe the 5th guy is better than the 7th. Again though, have you actually watched every game of the other 62 starting safeties in the league? Because that's what really matters with these ratings. Now, it's fair to point out that safety play throughout the league might be down right now and therefore it's not really worth paying a guy who is good relative to a weak group, which might be the case here.

Two plays stood out to me, one he came in and Wrapped up on a nice tackle, and the INT where he beat the WR to the spot. Great plays imo and what has seemed lacking to me from him. I’m giving kudos this week though. He earned them
