I have no idea what that garbled sentence is supposed to mean. I was interested in whether Breeland is about to sign an extention.

That seems to imply that breeland also thinks the Washington organization is not the best and that he too was once the one they blamed.
And yes that does also seem to imply that either breeland wants to remain in Green Bay after the season or that maybe he has already started negotiating with the team on a new deal. But this is a definite endorsement from a guy who has fit in, in Green Bay. That's a good sign to me hopefully we claim the guy and nobody else with a worse record does but unfortunately I have my doubts that he'll make it to us in the waiver wire order

He has 5+ accrued seasons. Isn't he a free agent now?
But otherwise, as I said in the FA thread, I'd take him for the next two seasons for up to $15m. Who cares if he vented at the coaches game plans.

As Mondio already pointed out correctly all players are subject to waivers after the trde deadline has passed.

Free agent after the season or how does this all work? I feel for anyone headed to AZ.

The Cardinals claiming Swearinger off waivers results in them taking over his contract minus the remaining prorated portion of the signing bonus he received from Washington. Therefore he's under contract for another season at $4.5 million with Arizona.

FWIW the Packers put in a claim for Swearinger, unfortunately the Cardinals had top priority.

Good to hear the Packers front office made the correct decision and put in a claim. Wow are the Redskins dumb, they clould have traded him during the off season and probably got at least the 4th round pick they wasted on haha back.
In addition to the packers and Cardinals John grudens raiders also claimed Swearinger. So he would have gone to the raiders even if the Cardinals hadn't claimed him

Yeah I agree but for all we know he has been saying the same things in house all season with no results?
Well, in that situation you could defy an ultimatum and get yourself fired. He sounds thrilled to be back in AZ. Maybe a little birdie told him AZ would put in that claim.
