Opinions are like A-holes, we all have one.
Did Rodgers have a conversation with the Jets, are we now closer to a trade? Stay tuned!
I doubt it, but we'll see. He certainly isn't going to retire. Even Gluten knows that. He doesn't want to get his HOF bust on "Tom Brady Day" at the HOF in five years. His ego won't allow it. It wouldn't be nourishing for him.
CAN Rodgers even “tear up his contract”? Isn’t guaranteed money “guaranteed money? I think the die is cast it just depends on when those $$$ hit. Plus much as I do not like Rodgers, I don’t expect any professional ANYthing to give back money
And if he wants to collect on the $59 mil, he needs to agree to a trade. Hell, it's just as likely that the team trading for him demands a pay cut.
Well said. Carr signing with the Saints suggests, to me, that the Jets are getting Rodgers. If the Jets knew for sure they didn't have a chance at Rodgers, they would have signed Carr in a heartbeat.
Yes which is a mistake lol I mean it’s time to move on from Rodgers it really is they should have traded him last year when they could have gotten the picks from Denver. I just think Green Bay is poorly ran imo and should have had more than 1 Super Bowl appearances with a another HOF qb….Matt also wants to keep Barry
So.......
No, but a friend of a friend who knows a friend is in the inner circle. Is your friend in his inner circle though?
Agreed Snoops. Keeping Barry may be the biggest mistake they make this off season.Yes which is a mistake lol I mean it’s time to move on from Rodgers it really is they should have traded him last year when they could have gotten the picks from Denver. Interesting. This sounds more credible. I forgot the Packers had to give a team permission to even talk with Rodgers as he's under contract. Even so, I just have the feeling this trade is a done deal, and Rodgers is heading East. Any discussions held yesterday would have been formalities.More logs for the fire....
Report: Aaron Rodgers 'open' to playing for the Jets
All signs are beginning to point towards an imminent, amicable parting of ways between Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. So much so that the wheels are already in247sports.com

Yes but we will see what happens I guess..Agreed Snoops. Keeping Barry may be the biggest mistake they make this off season.
I think that I heard that he bought a house in or near Howard.Chris Jacke (on Facebook) alluding to "big news" about a home being listed in Suamico. AR used to own a home there, but sold it in '17. Did he buy another there that MAY be listed soon?
Killing time here. Maybe the Ravens tag and trade Lamar Jackson to the Jets. IMO Jackson is overrated and injury prone. Baltimore gets a ton of draft capital and the Jets solve their QB problem, ugh, sort of……
Interesting. Why do you think it would work better in Atlanta? I don’t see it for Lamar and a return to the SB, but maybe he gets the deal he wants.Atlanta is more vein of Lamar trade IMO.
I didn't know the Falcons tried for Watson. They'll be better off with Lamar IMO if it even goes that way. And yeah I've seen some stuff tying him to Atlanta. The Browns screwed everything up by giving up so much for Watson. Terrible deal. I think Jackson acts as his own agent, and that's foolish.Falcons were in heavy on Deshaun Watson - Lamar is a similar vein QB albeit more run. I fully expect they will be a team to offer up the two firsts and a contract for Lamar now that the tag (non-exclusive) has been placed on Lamar.

Hey another question for you. IF the Packers trade Rodgers to the Jets, what will they get? I'm guessing a first and second round pick this year, and that's it. I've heard two firsts and Elijah Moore but don't believe it. Curious for your take.
Thanks. I don't know much about him but will check it out. I'd be happy with a first and second rounder and a player who can start, anywhere.I think more and more Corey Davis may be part of the package back to the Packers as with his contract I think the Jets were going to dump him anyways.
Not sure I would want to assume his $10.5M salary though. He's really been a disappointment for a #5 pick in the 2017 draft. Of course he hasn't had the benefit of great QB either.I think more and more Corey Davis may be part of the package back to the Packers as with his contract I think the Jets were going to dump him anyways.

I think they need to send us Olave and Moore in the trade and the Jets can sign Lazard, Cobb and Amari Rodgers. Will take Rodgers too long to get chemistry with the Jets current receivers. That could potentially be easily changed once here to be honest. But I could also see the Jets approaching him as a veteran piece to keep along with Olave and Moore on a restructured extension.

It doesn't say imminent parting. It says amicable parting. You must be logged in to see this image or video!
Thought this was kinda funny in that article... "Nothing is imminent" "All signs are pointing towards an imminent parting"
Not saying the scoop is fake or wrong or whatever. Just thought it was a little ironic the way the author put it lol
