The Packer organization and its fans are sadly going to see just how much #12 covered up for what otherwise (without #12) would be an average offense (when healthy) and a below average defense. With all the injuries going forward, the Packers are playing for a high draft pick and getting some experience for the young guys. Wonder if Adam's has realized how the loss of #12 could affect his new contract.

LOL well maybe it's a blessing in disguise??

Adams could be resigned for a fair deal now... maybe like 10mil/year(similar to Cobb)

Before this injury he would no doubt be in align for a 1000+yd, 12+ touchdown season

True.

Seeing how Hayward and Hyde have EXCELLED now after leaving there's definitely something up...

But at the same time they're playing with better front 7's with the Bills and Chargers...

So how much is it just on Capers and how much is personnel???

Besides Daniels and Perry... MAYBE only Clay and Kenny Clark would start on other teams with "good defenses"

So I think it goes both ways

Really? Because I have heard quite a bit this year about how great Blake Martinez has done, and a lot in the last couple years about how HHCD and Morgan Burnett are Pro-Bowl caliber safeties. Now they're not even starter quality?

Of course the offense would be average without a great QB.

That's the same around the league. The better offenses have better than overage QBs.

Wasn't talking about Burnett and HaHa because I mentioned FRONT SEVEN!?!

Did you read that?

Yeah I said Blake would MAYBE start, dude I'm not gonna say a guy would "definitely start" for a "good defense" in the league after only 5 or 6 games, that's ridiculous

Yet, the Vikings offense somehow looked pretty good today, with a 3rd string QB and their best WR and RB out?

The 23 points they put up today would be 14th in the points per game rankings. With the 2 turnovers, it's more of an average day.

And they have averaged 19.8 points per game (not sure if that includes today's game or not).

They've put put up a lot of yards this year, but overall are a very average offense.

Just heard on the radio that the Vikings fans were cheering when AR was carted off......and the way the radio announcer was talking about it, it was in a classless way.

Yeah, I get it Viking fans, you are tired of the Packers having great QB's, but really classless to cheer about an injury knocking a player out of a game.

Let's call a spade a spade here: The season is done. Anyone else wanna try and make a case it isn't? Pending A.R is out for the season....

OK, it pains me to say this, but our season is over. Without Rodgers they're browns level bad. What they odda do is tank and get a high draft pick then trade it to a team that needs a good QB at a high pick. Trade for defensive players because our defense is top 10 worst in the league!

Browns level bad, just what I said a year ago without AR.

We would need at least an average QB to determine that... and I don't think that is Hundley.

Yeah I have never given up on these guys or felt hopeless about them having a chance but I kind of do right now. If Rodgers is gone for the season then this year is OVER. No team in the league leans on there QB as much as Green Bay does Rodgers. Some of the people on here that have stated this is still a good team without Rodgers in the past are gonna come down to hard reality real quick.

I'm still gonna watch but once again if Rodgers is out for the season then this isn't even a playoff team. Might be time to get a higher draft pick postition and at the very least a new GM and defensive coordinator.

We don't win Cinncy, Seattle or Dallas games without no.12

I don't really think the Vikings offense looked very good. However, when the opposing team keeps going 3 and out combined with going up against the Packer's D well... you get my point.

They better pray AR can't play Christmas weekend.

IF Aaron is injured the job should be Brett's and I'm ok with that until he proves he can't do the job. I think we need a veteran back up (I'd like at Christian Ponder, or maybe Romo) cause I don't think Joe Callahan can do more than come in and stand pat in a game right now. 2 years from now he may be great, but right now based on experience I dn't want to be 1 hit away from Joe Callahan. D HAS TO be better! O-Line HAS TO heal up and be tougher!

Guys, I just have to vent a little here. I spent the past two days in the ER with a 103.7 fever, and all sorts of other flu like issues I won't get into. In between gruesome stabbing belly pains and the inability to sleep/get comfortable I made sure my fiancé was able to get me the game on his computer. Watching AR go down was heart breaking. After the cowboys game I was beginning to think this was looking like the best packers team I have seen since 2011. My friend that's a die hard pats fan last week asked me if this was the year. My response was as long as AR12 is in the game, that is always a possibility. Don't want to be a pessimist here as I sit in sweat in a hospital bed, but the packers season is over. There is not much going for this team outside of AR. Though unlikely we MAY win a few games here and there but to make playoffs AND have rodgers come back from a fractured clavicle on his throwing arm and compete at his week 5 level unfortunately just isn't in the cards for us this year. We can hope some more preparation time with Hundley will fix some of the offensive struggles, but I just do not think he's the guy.

What's the point of watching the NFL anymore. I thought about quit watching because the Patriots won the Super Bowl now so many people will say Brady will forever surpass Rodgers as an all time quarterback and Belichick will pass Lombardi as the coach. Winning 2 Super Bowls in 30 years with 2 of the 10 best quarterbacks of all time is a miserable feeling. I know what people will say, we could be the Browns, Vikings, or Bears and not have won a Super Bowl the last 30 years, but to me this is worse. I don't want to say we are cursed, but we definitely have some sort of monkey on our backs with all the bad luck in the postseason and then add what happened today to end another possible Super Bowl for Rodgers. The problem is the Pack won't get high enough of a draft pick to add the 'talent' people want more of with this team. I know we've been the 2nd best team in the NFL since 09, but I HATE 2nd place, I hate 2nd place more than I hate last place because at least with last place there is nowhere to go but up. Being in 2nd place means you are close but aren't good enough to be the best. Fair or unfair (I think it's unfair), people judge you by rings and your season is a complete waste if you lose in the NFC Championship Game. But seriously I'm trying to find a reason not to be sad even when Rodgers is playing, because when I watch him play I get sad that he only has had 1 ring. To me, Rodgers and Lombardi are way better than Brady and Belichick (cheaters) but that's not how they will be viewed by many. Whatever Packer games I watch from here on out even with Rodgers, I will be crying inside.

Question now is whether fans will still show up.

Of course we will. As dejected as I am over the loss of #12, there are still 10 games left in the season to enjoy. Win, lose or draw.....It is still the "Fricking Green Bay Packers"!

If people were only watching the Packers because of #12 and the chance he brought them to win on every given Sunday, than they really weren't die hard Packer fans.

I'm sure you were being facetious, but there is no silver lining, blessing in disguise, or whatever you want to call it to losing Aaron Rodgers for any amount of time.

agreed
this is Hundley's team for the rest of the season (or however long 12 ends up being out)
nobody is being brought in to leapfrog him on the depth chart regardless of how he plays
unless he also gets hurt, ofc

Right now we are have 1 Quarterback so someone getting signed next week. I think it will depend on how bad the break is. We have game and a bye week ..... The question becomes if is Rodgers out for for regular season do bring a proven in in case Hundley doesn't pan out. At this point Hundley did not complete a scoring drive except for defense gave a very short field.

Yeah... the Ravens and Steelers games look more "losable" now without ARod

But Hundley hasn't looked so bad, we should just see what he can do

That said I'm GLAD he didn't get traded this offseason now as he knows the playbook and I trust his physical skills are pretty good

Joe Callahan will get a call if he's available

Or Matt Flynn
