I expect pad level will be adjusted after the best week of practice this year. Green Bay will go 3 and out on the first 2 drives while the Eagles will score 10 on their first two. The shoutbox will lose their collective :poop:.

On the packers 3rd drive they will get a first down on a pass interference call but the drive will stall and Crosby will kick a 54 yard field goal and carl will mention that it was a nice kick in the shoutbox. However on the following drive it will take the Eagles just 3 plays to go 81 yards with the final play being an 81 yard pass on 3rd and 17 from the 19 yard line.

At this point mass pandemonium will ensue in the shoutbox led by 7thfloor and most of his sentences will look like this:

**** you tt you ******* ******* *********** mother ******. That's ******* what you get for ******* filling this ****** roster with ******* ****** street free agents, you stupid ****************************************! (Yes he will really somehow create the only 40 character curse word to be censored)

After that it is really anyone's guess as to how the rest of the game will go.

Not that I have given it much thought or anything...

You forgot there part where Green Bay's running game will have a spark of life and help them move down the field, only for MM to think that it's not working and line up RR in the slot striking fear in the Eagles defense

With 2:12 left in the game Aaron Rodgers will throw a touchdown pass to Cook to put the Packers on Top 35-30 . But with no timeouts Carson Wentz will drive the Eagles 85 yards yds and throw a game winning touchdown to defeat the Packers 37-35. You can't make this stuff up people haha. No ones ever out of the game against this defense.
Yeah, and that will be after Philly goes 75 yds. in 37 seconds to close the first half, helped by McCarthy calling time outs to "get the ball back".

Idc if this is the ugliest game of the year...we need a W bad. We haven't won in over a month.
Need a win bad? I'd say. At 4-7 you can pretty much stick a fork in this season.

My "burn the tape" count is up to 4 games. These are not just losses, as is obvious from the count; these are games where the play was just plain bad for a substantial period of the game clock.

According to this proprietary informal gauge ;), 3 games is near the limit for a playoff contender. 4 games is all but a disqualifier for a 4-6 team.

As far as I'm concerned, it's not just a must win game. Beyond that, the win needs to come out of a solid team performance to signal some kind of turnaround possibility; Philly ******** the pooch with their own bad play would not be sufficient for optimism going forward.

If this team is making the playoffs, they have to win out.

I think we can lose one, just not to Minny or Detroit.

Winning out would all but sew it up, IMO. I don't see either of them winning 11.

Yeah, we can maybe give one up to the Seahawks, which looks like the toughest remaining game.

It'd be pretty wild if they win out and go into the playoffs hot.

I assume that 81 yard pass will come with less than a minute on the first half clock.

Any idea what ILBs will be healthy and ready to roll Monday? Are we really going to see Joe Thomas and Carl Bradford in the middle! What a mess!!

Jake Ryan practiced on a limited basis yesterday and McCarthy sounded optimistic about his chances to play on Monday.

What happened to Quinten Rollins. I remember last draft veing upset about drafting another former basketball player converted to CB and this 1 on round 2. But then as the season went on I thought wow we drafted 2 very talented corners in the 1st 2 rounds I guess! Thus far this season Randall was not playing well then was injured. Rollins has been awful this season. Gunter isn't playing good either, but he went undrafted, runs slow and that's what we expect. Rollins is a high draft pick that needs to improve for our D to have chance Monday!

It's anybody's guess why Rollins has struggled after a rock solid rookie season. Maybe he isn't ready to be the team's #1 cornerback.

I watch all of the Eagles games.

This is a team that is shattered in health and in spirit. Their NFC East rivals are too far ahead to realistically catch, and the remaining schedule is brutal. They have nobody that can catch passes. WAS is up there with ATL and PIT as the most dangerous passing teams in the league when healthy. Their receiving corps are INSANELY good, and Cousins is a naturally gifted passer. His decision making in the red zone is another thing entirely. The point is : the Eagles are the polar opposite of the Redskins in terms of passing game threat. GB's biggest weakness at the moment is the shattered secondary. PHI has nowhere near the personnel to make much of that.

On the bad side, they have been hot so far this year at home. I don't think that matters as much as it has before though, with the combo of them being virtually knocked out of the playoffs, and their injuries/suspensions in tandem are ludicrous.

I don't see how PHI has a shot to be honest. That's a dead team walking. GB still has playmakers, and AR12 has quietly been doing quite well of late.

Healthy Eagles at home in playoff contention? That would be a tough task. This Eagles team that will show up Monday after the physical and mental beatings they've taken lately? Pack wins. Convincingly.

I read your post and then swapped the names of "Eagles" with "Packers"......in that scenario, we get crushed.

I would be drinking the Kool-Aid of "this is an easy win" for the Packers, had we gotten even wins, yet alone "easy" against Indy, Tenn. and Washington.

AR is on a mission,Michael has something to prove and Cook looks for redemption from the fumble on offense. Defense will look better. We win.

Rodgers loves these "back against the wall" scenarios. Hopefully he will play like a man possessed, especially with everyone out there questioning his leadership.

Unfortunately the Packers have had their backs against the wall for the last two weeks as well.

Without question, and he will certainly need some help from a defense that has given up 89 points in those 2 games. Hopefully they come out and show even a little bit of pride.

Got to eliminate the slow starts though. That's been the only thing with the offense. 3 and outs in the first quarter have killed us.

I'll be at my girlfriend's on Mon. night.
She doesn't have cable.
Which means we won't be able to watch the game.
Which is fine by us.

Have fun doing ......well whatever...might be the same thing the Eagles are doing to the Packers, at least the Packers might make it a full 60 minutes ;)
