Gary is not an OLB in a 4-3 lol.
He's an edge/iDL.
He's an edge/iDL.
i heard him say 9 in an interview.2% was the number I heard, which is absurdly low if not unhealthy. His body is alien even by NFL standards. He's among the most freakish of all freaks of nature that pass through this game...or something else.
They measure these things at the Combine where it has been reported he measured 1.6% body fat. Metcalf corrected that saying it is 1.9% as though something like 9 ounces makes any difference.i heard him say 9 in an interview.
My nephew is a 6'4" 300# DT with a 4.8 time who recorded 39 tackles, 7.5 sacks last year. Decided not to declare for the draft and play one more year in D1-college. Guess he might be questioning that decision right now?? WTF is going on in GB?
Congratulations on a non-sensical post!
We don't all have your caliber of content and football insight to contribute to the conversation so we do what we can.
A red flag to me, that just isn't healthy. They measure these things at the Combine where it has been reported he measured 1.6% body fat. Metcalf corrected that saying it is 1.9% as though something like 9 ounces makes any difference.
The following link presents the numbers and tries to explain how these numbers are impossibe:

Or are those numbers impossible? There are way to achieve it, however imprudent.
Drives me crazy when these “hot shots” skim through a thread getting all happy with that disagree button and then never want to elaborate on what it is they disagree with.PackerDNA - you disagreed with my post above. I am interested in why.

If you’re going to disagree with someone, jump in the ring with them and exchange blows. Don’t hide from it.

It's called a hissy fit.
NOTE: Scouting Services Inc has worked with NFL teams for decades, supplementing teams' own scouting departments with additional research and evaluations on college prosects. What follows is a "summary report - actual reports are often close to 100 pages long and only for NFL scouting departments to see.
Compares To...Richard Seymour-ex-New England Patriots...Yes, a lofty comparison for a player with average statistics, but Gary often played out of position at Michigan. He has the potential for being a top-north inside-outside rusher, much like Seymour was. Gary has that innate ability to quickly spot blocking schemes, making plays before they can even develop. He has patience while playing in run containment and the balance to change direction to shut down the reverse. He shows very good eyes to locate the ball on the move. He knows how to use his arm length to get block separation while he locates the football and consistently shows the ability to make plays when working down the line.
In twelve games as a senior, he collected 44 tackles, seeing his sack numbers dip to 3.5 and his tackle-for-loss figures close at seven. The notable drop was more due to a position responsibility, as U-M down linemen usually clear the gaps for their linebackers to blitz. With Gary doing the "grunt work," it freed up fellow end, Chase Winovich, who made fifteen stops-for-loss. Later in the season, Gary played more of an interior position in order for the staff to get Kwity Paye opportunities to come off the edge and get to the opposing passer.
You guys crack me up with this meltdown over the disagree button. I liken it to the reason why Facebook won't create a "Dislike Button". On the other hand, if someone gets 9 Agrees nobody cares about why they're co-signing.
And probably less than that as we go further. Especially with the roughing the passer coming into effect. Next thing you know it everyone will be defenseless. The NFL as a whole was in sub defense 75% of the time last year.

We'll see. Knowing our luck the officiating is going to go against us, especially with them reviewing the PI calls now.I do think we will start cycling back towards a little bit more base. This game will forever favor the pass under the current rules but smart teams are going to start running over these light packages until there's a correction.
Very detailed like I never seen b4that splains a lot.
