I'm probably going to get flamed for this but I don't care...
This team just really hasn't been that good since the 2014 NFC Championship Game loss and that's the honest truth.
Every year since, including "run the table" has been Aaron Rodgers basically playing "Superman" carrying a below average and TERRIBLY coached team that runs the SAME offensive scheme from a decade ago that the league has largely caught up to. The defense has improved with Pettine from laughable to bad... but giving up 30 POINTS and a 115.3 Rating to Beathard and the 49ers is still unacceptable.
I have faith in Pettine though.
Does anyone think MM still has his job because his daughter is hot? Or something like that....
I can't really think of any other logical explanation.
