He wouldn't be the first guy to leave an NFL city with an offer and later come back and sign it. Given that the Packers were his first visit, he is probably on his way to Denver and beyond, weighing his options to be ready for opening day with the team of his choice.

Just an observation.....either we are all crazy together or the situation in Green Bay was THAT bleak at OLB, maybe I missed one, but I didn't notice one post in opposition of signing Brooks. Has to be a new Packer forum record!

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!!!!!! I know he isn't the player he once was but a veteran OLB with a niche in a defense has been proven by many other teams and even us wth julius peppers to help out a lot. Down the road especially with injury history of perry and clay and unknown with fackrell biegel and Elliot this could be a championship caliber move thank you TT!!!

Love this signing. For depth at a very least, it's reassuring knowing we do not have to rely on CM3 and Nick Perrys health. Don't think we will feel the loss of Peppers with a veteran that had 6 sacks, 4 pass deflections and a forced fumble last year.
