Lazard's the real deal. Going to get better and better.

I think he passed G-Mo on the depth chart tonight and is nipping at MVS's heals. I didn't expect much out of G-Mo this year, but even with low expectations, he has been rather disappointing.

Jones is an amazing talent. He is the Packers’ mvp at this point. Yes, Rodgers has been doing his thing, but where would we be without Jones’ production really?

Duds: That pathetic excuse for a return game. No blocking scheme and nobody willing to catch and run. Field position will kill us late in the season when weather changes.

Kept saying it in the shoutbox. It turned out to be absolutely the correct strategy. Limited their possessions late.
I just stopped and left basically. After the a 1st down to Hill and King was on him 1 on 1 and everyone freaking out. i'm like, what do you want? King can't keep up with him, neither can 99% of the DB's in the league 1 on 1 with no over top help. Never stops them from *****ing though.

Studs:

Both RB's, Rodgers, I thought Lazard had some good plays for a young guy. On defense there weren't any "stud" performances, but I think some might be overlooked because there weren't any huge splash plays or guady stats. But Amos and Alexander were important and it was good to see Savage back there covering things up.

Duds:
Too many missed tackles there for a while. our ST's in general were a dud. punts were bad, returns were bad, kick coverage didn't give up a TD, but they weren't exactly smothering either.

and every chicken little in the shoutbox. Every single week it's the same thing. I get it, it's frustrating to watch sometimes and sometimes there are just some terrible plays or stretches of games, but come on. I swear the season is over by the same people every single week every time something gets tough or doesn't go perfectly. it's like they have no concept of what it is to be human and what it is to compete. Go ahead and voice displeasure about a bad play, but save the doomsday saying for later. or keep it up, one day you'll be right, but you're 1 for 7 so far this year. You guys know who you are, and you're DUDs this week with a chance to redeem yourself next week :)

Fixed it for you ;)

Cut him and put him on the PS if they think he has potential.
Sadly, I have to agree. I had high hopes for him, but, it is clear we need another WR who knows how to get separation and move the chains.

Studs:
Aaron Rodgers
Aaron Jones

Jake Kumerow
Alan Lazard
Bakhtiari

I would have to look at it again but I didn't think he had much of a chance to catch that punt.

Me too, by the time I saw the ball coming down and where he was, it could have ended pretty poorly trying to field that. I'd have to see it again though to have a strong feeling one way or the other though

Perfect spiral on a rope falling away, to his right. Just a little side arm flick. The arm talent is just so off the charts.
Lot of idiots out there saying he was just throwing the ball away and got lucky. That's pure bunk. If he was just throwing it away he would have thrown it to the sideline. He knew if he could get it to the corner he had a couple of guys who might be able to make the play and if not the defense wasn't going to get it either. It was a calculated risk throw, not a throwaway.

Duds: Time management. I was so certain that they would have been called a third time for delay of game.

Studs: Aaron's impossible throw for a touchdown. But I should be used to that by now.

There are some pretty obvious studs.
But I want to give a shout out to LaFleur and Pettine for making some very needed changes at halftime.

Stud:

-We won; 7-1 is just remarkable
Our RBs; Nice mix of Run n Pass.
-Our O Line did a fantastic job. Even backed up to our goal line with 9 in the box we just overwhelmed their D Line.
-While underwhelming, our TEs got the job done in getting some momentum going.

-As bad as our run D has been we held them to 88 yards rushing.
(I’m surprised KC didn’t game plan to control the clock more running it)

Moore played very respectable for an assistant coach! He gave us a scare. He’s a great backup.
Duds:

- Special teams looked awful. Except for Crosby.
- Us not running a hurry up O against an already tired KC Defense. Gave them a delay and ran the quarter out in a goal to go scenario.

Good Win guys n Gals. I’m still pleased we’re 7-1
We need another WR opposite Adams to be dynamic
We also need a LB who excels in Pass coverage.

Good to know, I totally missed it
The Packers had no answer for KC's blitz and coverage packages other than Rodgers extend or scramble or throw miracle balls in the corner of the end zone.

There's no way Matt Moore should have been able to move the ball the way he did. More crappy zone coverages.

Our guys simply made more plays, whether Rodgers (running as wall as throwing), Jones of course, not just the long plays but digging it out from the 2 yard line and burning clock at the the end, the Lancaster forced fumble, right down to the big pass breakup by Sullivan on the Kelce 3rd. down throw.

All in all, a pretty exciting game, well-played on both sides, but you have to give it to Reid and his coaches keeping their guys hanging in there short-handed.

I have a feeling Adams is going to open up a bunch of things.

Dud: Bill Vinovich. Is it me or are other teams disproportionately allowed to rough on Rodgers? Any contact to the head on a sack is supposed to be roughing. But not when it's AR.

oh, I don't, i just had to get it off my chest after 8 weeks, more if you count the preseason. Same stuff from the same people after every single bad play.

I have a feeling Adams is going to open up a bunch of things.

They haven't even rolled out the whole offense yet. Every week they're adding new layers to the game plan. LaFleur looks so confident on the sidelines. The last 3 years, MM always looked frustrated.

I was amazed roughing wasn’t called... and then, I wasn’t amazed...

Also, 3 backup OL with zero holding calls? Again, not amazed.

Whatever. It was a great win. Tough place for us to get Ws too. I’m thrilled with this one. Even with Moore, I was nervous about GB bringing this one home.

Incidental contact to the helmet is not roughing.

Last play of the game: Is Jimmy Graham just a big dumb guy? If he and Ward were getting into it during the game and he was looking for a last shot, then as usual he couldn't get much of a shot on him which is a good thing.

KC outcoached GB. GB had better players. The players won.

Another Aaron Jones show, even the clock burning runs at the end.

Kind of.

The Chiefs have far better skill players.

They were running screens, getting the ball out in space to guys like Hill, Hardeman, Watkins. We were doing that with guys like Graham, Lazard, and MVS.

Andy Reid, scheme wise, out coaches almost everybody. That's nothing uncommon. Brilliant playcaller/schemer.

The Packers offense took a half to figure out what KC was doing defensively. We outcoached them in the second, imo.

I thought our DL performed poorly. Almost zero pass rush the first half. Second half wasn't much better. Pettine didn't want to blitz, because that's how you give up big plays to the Chiefs. They're just so explosive. They've matched the talent to the scheme well there. Hope we can do the same.
