Not sure if I would say he pulled... more like he was shot out of a canon. Damn, that was a F'ing great block.
LaFluer's variety and creativity is creating the offense that McCarthy was not able to do with the players on the roster. The setup for play and the FB block are the difference between last year and this year.

In your mind, I'm sure they have. It's all about perspective man, most of us knew you can't just take a 10+ year vet and jam him into a new offense without a learning curve and make the offense go. He had stuff to learn, he has experience to draw from, there would be and will be mistakes and growing pains along the way.

Most of us knew you can't just take a 1st year head coach and come out week 1 with a super bowl contender. Most of us knew it would take a lot of learning on his part about his players, including his QB, their strengths, their weaknesses and how it fits into his vision. We also knew there are always compromises. What is transpiring is completely normal to most of us watching.

But to you? Rodgers needed to buy in LOL

You don't see your slant, but it's rather obvious to the rest.

i didn't expect them to be a super bowl contender. i thought they'd be lucky to make the playoffs. and my concerns weren't learning curve related either. i said way before camp even started that there would be learning curve but if anyone could master it rodgers could. if goff could excel in the new offence image what rodgers could do, i said. but there's a difference between learning curve and resistance to change. my fear was whether rodgers would buy in fully or not. and sure enough he didn't at first, as we all know (he took his concerns public and MLF gave in). i think as the season's gone on though, he has bought-in more and more. he subtly mentions it in this new interview...

i think the two of them are on the right track and the next couple of years could be fun.

you don't have to tell me again what you thought, I already know. I know your concerns weren't "learning curve" related, you made it very clear. Hence I said you didn't imply anything earlier you just outright said it.

I guess it's hard to debate when you write your own version of events, MLF gave in? LOL The rest of us see completely normal working relationship between 2 professionals all the way along, others see something entirely different.

Really, really super impressive stuff we are witnessing. I love it. LaFleur has FAR and away exceeded my expectations as a HC. Just awesome to see.
