It's ludicrous to suggest that Rodgers nearly lost the Super Bowl because the Packers didn't score a touchdown on their last possession. Do you truly expect them to score seven points on every one???
I'm in complete agreement. That is completely foolish on his part to think like that.

They're up 28-25 and have the ball on their final drive. A TD makes it 34-25, no defense stand needed. They can't score...get a FG and the D has to make a stand late to preserve the victory.

He made a truly asinine statement and now he's trying to justify it. This is one of those situations where you just gotta take your 'L' and move on.

I cringe when I see someone slowpoke a beer to the point that it gets abandoned in favor of a new one. That yeast gave its all to convert those sugars into alcohol!

I cringe when so called Packer fans bad mouth the front office when they have absolutely no idea what it takes to run a team! There are 32 teams in the NFL that do everything they possibly can to win the Super Bowl every year, but only 1 team wins it yearly. Now I hate New England as much as any true Packer fan, but hats off to them for what they been able to accomplish! Truly amazing, and I hope the Packers can achieve the same type success before I die!

I’m 54 years old and grew up in Bear country. I lived through the ‘70s and 80’s and every birthday wish, every falling star, every coin thrown in a fountain, was for them to win just one more SB! They’ve won 2 more since then, which when I was young looked like an impossible feat. Maybe I should have asked for 5 or 6?:)

So you're telling me that these so called Packer fans shouldn't criticize the FO especially when all evidence point to how they were lackadaisical and simply over relied on Rodgers' arm over the past several years, squandering many opportunities to make it to The SB? It's funny you mention New England, at least they constantly prove time and time again that they can put a decent defense around their QB so he doesn't have to carry all the load.

I cringe when I see posts trying to defend the FO in regards to their shortcomings. No we do not know what it's like but when everyone sees gaping holes that needed to be fix and they ignore it, that to me tells me that they weren't doing a very good job, and they deserve to be criticized. Especially when you have a generational talent such as Rodgers and he only has 1 SB to his name.

On the one hand you say you hate people to criticize their team's front office because they try so hard and on the other hand you point out that New England does well because their front office is better than the others. Personally, I don't accept them just because they are doing their best. They need to be good.

Marino was pretty good and so was his coach, Don Shula ‍♂️
Injuries have been a huge factor over the past few years and the meltdown in Seattle was the stupidest thing I ever seen. What I’m saying is the pieces have been in place it just didn’t work out. Blaming the front office is just a BS excuse!

Not what I said at all, please read it slowly. I didn’t use the word hate and I didn’t try to convince anyone to think in any particular way.

Try factoring in injuries, bad luck and the salary cap, which not only limits player acquisition, but drastically changes the players on every team every year, not to mention, try luring a 20+ millionaire to a small town with little or nothing for him to do on his down time.

Well, maybe you didn't mean what you said. It happens.

The front office definitely deserves part of the blame for the Packers not having won another Super Bowl since 2010.

Reports about free agents not wanting to come to Green Bay are way overblown.

Those of us who endured the 70s and 80s deserve a freaking medal. Younger fans who weren't around for those dreadful years  are kinda spoiled if you ask me.

I've said we as a fanbase have been spoiled, which is why I've giving this team and some players the benefit of the doubt.

I cringe when I see people act as if Rodgers is the reason why we lose in the playoffs. They always bring up the Seattle game, and yet for some reason they forget that game was good and ours if not for a botched onside kick recovery. Plus let's not forget the two TD passes that were dropped by both Cobb and Jordy on two different occasions.

I cringe when anybody brings up the Seattle playoff game.....

When I look back and compare the Defensive resources spent vs. the Offensive resources spent since Aaron has become a starting QB.

Then take that into account and next review the Defensive rankings for GB since 2008.

Then with that info fresh in your mind... similarly compare it to the Defensive rankings of the Patriots each consecutive while Tom Brady has been a starter.
