No problem with having some folks wait until opening day before commenting on the roster, et. al. See you in September, Mondio.
If he could have added 8-10 sacks I'd take him, I don't think his 3 sacks a year would do much for our defense
I did in the Superbowl, other than that it couldn't have been too impressive to end up with 2.5 at years end. If he was that good, they'd send him more. if they sent him more and he only ended up with 2.5 he can't be that good? he's a fine linebacker overall but if you're not a stud on the line, and pass rushing specialist, or a great cover guy, you'll have a tough time convincing me he's the guy we need to dedicate money to fix our defense.
of course he would, but 2.5 sacks from the ILB position aren't going to do much overall for us. Especially not for 10+ million a year. he better get me 8+ sacks per or 5 INT's and a crap load of defensed passes for that price
I know it. TT must really be high on Martellus to give him a 3yr 21 mil deal and then to kick Cook only to sign a 2yr 12 mil contract. I hope old Martellus lives up to that contract we need himlooks like JCook heading to the Raiders
have fun in Vegas, buddy
Cook getting 2 year, $12.2M from Raiders.
Not sure how the FA losses and gains will cancel out in regards to comp picks.
What about House?Well right now, the Packers have only signed one true UFA from the outside (Bennett) and have lost Lang, Hyde, Cook, Tretter, Lacy, Peppers, and Jones.
Kendricks don't count because they were roster cuts.
So basically as it stands at the moment the Packers will get the maximum of 4 comp picks next year. I would guess that it would be a 3rd or 4th for Lang, a 5th for Cook, and two 6th's for Tretter and Lacy.
They could still sign a UFA or two without really costing themselves picks because of how many guys have walked.
What about House?
Hyde offsets Bennett because of similar contracts?Sorry. Typo leaving him off. He was released so he doesn't count either.

I thought you could have a max of 10 total picks so a traditional 7 with the 3 would fill your ticket. IDK though...just what I thought. You also dont alway get one so a piece of trash like Jones will not get one.
Barwin just signed with the Rams. He never even visited Green Bay. The number of people who could be signed as potential starters is rapidly dwindling.
