Man, Brett just has to eat that ball. If he eats it, he has another play and we have a chance to score. Now you have the interception and no score.

looked to me he was in the process of throwing a regular pass when he got hit...as he got hit it took what ever he had on the ball off, which caused it to be a lame duck

Yeah when I looked at the replay I thought that too, but I also saw the receiver was covered he was throwing into three man coverage, I think. And the Poppinga drops a sure interception. Man, you just have to be ready for everything. I guess those are the reasons we're not very good.

He started to throw it just before he got hit. It happens. It sucked, I agree, but it happens. Hendu was open.

That was a great offensive set on the throw to Driver down the line. Favre thew that one where only one guy could catch it and the blocking was superb

The best down field throw Ive seen Favre make in a VERY long time. Beautiful spiral and stepped into his throw with great touch. Look what happens when a QB gets good protection.

And it was an equally offensive defensive series. They played well on early downs, and can't get the stop on 3rd down again. Collins got his lunch handed to him on that pass. I can't imagine that's a coverage that favors the Packers.

Ok four things. 1) Ahman you're down by one score you have to hold on to the ball. You're a seasoned pro you have to know that holding on to the ball at this stage of the game is vital 2) it's a ****** call by the head coach. 3) why not throw the flag and take a chance. 4) Where in the heck was the outside linebacker on that play?

That is the reason Ferguson should not be on this team. You just have to make that catch.

Did he drop that or was it tipped?

He had time to throw. He held onto the ball for to long. It was just a bad decision to throw. Favre had a good day but looking back the turning point of the game was that play. GB could've went up 16-14 or 20-14 but instead New Orleans got a field goal off of the turnover. Easy to blame Favre for that play. He deserves it but remember Favre doesn't play defense. The secondary was awful again and the sad part is we had a pass rush. Brees just stepped up and found the open guy. It was a good game to watch. Maybe not as a fan but overall a well played game and fought game. We saw some improvement from last week as expected. I thought the Saints would win a high scoring close one and they did. I'm not suprised by the outcome as well. Next week the 2 lowly teams of the NFC North will play. Let's see who stinks less this year!

Easy to blame Favre for that play? Because he didn't force the ball? He had time and eventually had hendu open. Just a good play by the defender to hit favre as he was throwing. Why does there have to be "blame" on every play?

He was hit. The ball went into the air as he threw it. If he wasn't hit, that may have been a TD pass.

Agree with you Cory. Unless Favre had eyes on the side of his head that could see through his helmet. Geez, people blame Favre for everything. He threw 3 TDs. Our pass defense sucked. That's why we lost, not Favre.

what about all the other players who made big mistakes. if green didnt fumble the ball it would have been a tie game and we could have possibley(spelling) won the game.

their where many other players who made mistakes besides favre.

Favre had his share of bad plays out there. A lot of folks did. He isnt perfect. realize it.
