Opinions are like A-holes, we all have one.
Now if he can just return to playing at a higher level! Something is off with him. He either has lost a step or is playing hurt.
Walter Payton would be Proud of you De’Vondre!

I'm kind of, sorta of am in agreement with this. I think you may get more mistakes out of McDuffie, but as I said above, De'Vondre just looks off this season.I'd prefer to play McDuffie

That could be it, but he just seems to have slowed down. Not sure if it is on him, Walker or the DB's, but TE's should not be as open as they have been this season.Truthfully his insane year was an anomaly. He's a starting level ILB but nothing more.
I disagree. Campbell playing lately a little banged up is still = (at worst) to McDuffie.I'd prefer to play McDuffie
I think that Campbell and Walker are too similar to play next to each other. Neither plays downhill against the run, attacking gaps and taking on blocks. They're both more capable coverage players than McDuffie, but he brings an elements in the run game that they lack. Personally, I think Campbell has lost his athletic edge.
Agree, I look for an upgrade in the draft personally this next year. Campbells' contract could remain it isn't terrible and have this next year be the last one but I think also Campbell's not regaining any of what many hope.
A 3rd round pick to compete with McDuffie would work for me.
Playing injured some. Now if he can just return to playing at a higher level! Something is off with him. He either has lost a step or is playing hurt.
SmaelYup, now there are a couple guys I think are studs and get it if we go earlier but that 3rd/4th round area for a prolific tackler and hitter type that isn't a sloth either would be excellent
I agree it sometimes looks like the thumper (Isaiah) is the way to go and possibly when the Run game is a specific focus this all becomes more of an argument. However remember Campbell suffered 2 minor injuries this year. An ankle injury in Week 3 and a shoulder injury several weeks ago.I think that Campbell and Walker are too similar to play next to each other. My 46 year old 300+ pound *ss is a better linebacker than McDuffieI'd prefer to play McDuffie
And this is why some don’t take anything you say seriously flair…My 46 year old 300+ pound *ss is a better linebacker than McDuffie
I at the very LEAST wouldn't be doing my impersonation of John Belushi in coverageAnd this is why some don’t take anything you say seriously flair…
Given the stature you described I am thinking Belushi may be a good description lolI at the very LEAST wouldn't be doing my impersonation of John Belushi in coverage

He may outrun me, I may not get off any block ever, and I may miss every tackle...but I'll know my assignment and be in position to make a play every single snap. I can't say that for OJNow that I’d like to see!
Not!
Ooops!

The 80's were not exactly glory years here. The man meant Isaiah sorry brain locked up and reverted back to the 1980s
We lovingly refer to the 80s in several ways. Most of them not fit to print. But, in all candor, they were our years of hibernation so the rest of the NFL didn't look so pathetic. The 80's were not exactly glory years here.
I recall several 80s seasons like this one.. Vying for the last WC spot until the last few weeks. If there were 3 instead of 1, we might have made the playoffs a few times at 8-8 with Gregg. The last 2-3 games might have meant something more than a paycheck and tee time at the driving ranges. We lovingly refer to the 80s in several ways. Most of them not fit to print. The year before Gregg took the reins, we were 8-8. Gregg said he was going to turn things around in GB. He was right on the money. They were 8-8.I recall several 80s seasons like this one.. Even Bart had a few seasons in which we had a shot.I recall several 80s seasons like this one.. Vying for the last WC spot until the last few weeks.
