You can send it to Miami. (I'll have to look up the name of the boat)

That boat trip is going to be forever remembered by Giants fans! I didn't see Justin Bieber at the game, but guessing he was preparing his boat for the load of Cowboy players he is touring the beaches with today. :coffee:

Nelson is a great player, but correct me if I'm wrong didn't Green Bay score all their points after he went down? Not trying to diminish what Jordy Nelson is because he's one of the best players at his position in football. I just think the way Rodgers is going right now he's gonna be just fine.

Pretty much, but 66-13 with Jordy in there would have been nice too! :whistling:

MM's presser this AM he stated Jordy is in the rehab group through Friday and he'll update everyone on Friday. If Jordy doesn't practice Saturday he won't play in the game Sunday. As usual, very vague.

It takes two to complete a pass. We just lost the guy who caught nearly 100 of Rodgers passes, ran for over 1200 yards and found the end zone 14 times this season.

It's a big loss and will, unfortunately, have a negative effect on the Packer team.

The Packers have played 3 of the top 6 scoring defenses in the NFL during this streak. They have put up 38 each time! Now each of those was at home but still this offense is clicking
Amazingly and unfortunately at the same time, we did it this week without Our #1 WR. We are big play capable as shown by Aaron's 4 TDs against a top tier Defense. We also have Christine Michael at RB who has proven he is getting a grip on the playbook and has an energy about him that I think is paramount in the playoffs. I see now why he leads Seattle in rushing this year he's feisty.
No it won't be an easy win in Arlington and we can't expect all these dropped passes but my gut tells me we have a very real chance at an upset. We need to bring our A game and nothing less than our B game to beat Dallas. Dont underestimate Jason Garrett, he's a solid coach that is very focused. He doesn't buy into the hype and won't take us lightly.
I would utilized both TEs more in the short to intermediate passing game. Dallas has given up 100 yards a game to TEs recently

Right now the spread on the game is +4 for Dallas. I like those odds as well as going in there fresh off a strong victory over a team that recently figured out and beat the Cowboys 10-7 a month ago. Going to be a hard fought game against a Dallas team that relies heavily on 2 players (Dak and Zeke) who have never been involved in an NFL playoff game.

We need Dix to play top notch and make a big play or 2 for our D. We need Adams to do same for O with Jordy out. Same may laugh but Janis may see some big plays his way aswell.

Our front will be tested by Elliott. But Im confident we will do well since everyone is playing well and mostly healthy. Im confident the rookie QB Dak will show his inexperience. Besides the week off to lose his mojo.... He has to put up points to keep up with Rodgers. He will be easy to knock off his game IMO.

With Adams, Cobb, Monty, Cook, Michael out there all at once. Theres basicly no way to stop us. If I was Dallas, I would be very concerned these recievers and Rodgers will destroy them. Plus they have a confidence in their run defense, finishing the season #1....... Their main concern will be to stop Rodgers.
But when their #1 run defense was dominating teams, I wonder how many of those teams had an offense that forced them to spread the field??? Like the giants, they got their stats with a solid front 7 that stops the run, gets the pressure on the QB. Snubbing out the **** and dunk stuff, and runs, and screens, is what they do best. But as soon as a great QB comes along and drops a few over them. They wont be the same defense when they have to stop that.
I think with Monty and Michael and the burst/vision they are showing. And the way people cant stop Rodgers deep. It will be the same result despite Dallas' top rated run defense.

Jordy missed over half of the last game and Janis didn't get a target. If he has some big plays great but I won't hold my breath

If the Giants allpro safety Collins hadn't made a great play to knock down that deep pass to cook early on.... That 1st quarter would have looked a whole lot different. Another thing that would typically have gone off without a hitch, is McCarthys decision to call it 4th down territory when we were 3rd and 1. I was very surprised we couldn't get the hard yard with two tries... We have been getting that hard yard lately. I love the aggressive play calling!!! Because typically we get that and continue driving..... Cook catches that ball , and we get the 1st down on the 3rd and 1, and we catch fire a lot earlier IMO

The Cowboys have allowed the 31st most receiving yards to tight ends all season. Therefore I expect Cook to be a key factor on Sunday once again. There´s no reason to use Richard Rodgers in an expanded role though as he has struggled for most of the year. Overall Dallas´ defense is significantly worse than the Giants so hopefully the Packers offense will continue to roll. The defense has to get off the field though to not allow the Cowboys keep the ball out of Rodgers´ hands.

Just came to post these as my keys to the game.

1. Get Cook involved early and often, as Dallas has struggled against TEs. In their last 3 games, they gave up huge days to Cameron Brate (5 catches, 73 yards, 1 TD), Eric Ebron (8 catches, 93 yards, 0 TDs), and Zach Ertz (13 catches, 139 yards, 2 TDs).

2. Limit their TOP. They're second in the league in TOP, and you know that's their game plan. I don't think any team can count on stopping Rodger's defensively right now, but the Cowboy's are a scary match up because they have the ability to go on long drives, eat up clock, and keep him off the field.

I saw Vegas had this one around Cowboys -4. It's a pick 'em for me.

One thing some of you are forgetting is that the Cowboys defense was near the best in the league in December. They were actually at the top in sacks and turnovers end of year. Those of you saying how much better the Giants D is are making inaccurate statements. The Cowboys are the healthiest they've been all season, and Sean Lee will instruct our D on how to attack and contain AR. The Cowboys best corner is back as well Morris Claiborn. Don't forget that David Irving killed you guys last time and is coming on and is beastly right now. Basically, the Packers are scary with AR, but to discredit the Cowboys D, is a HUGE mistake by you as fans.

Yeah, oddly enough I think the Nelson injury helped the Packers to some extent. Now, obviously Nelson is the best WR on the Packer's roster but I think MM changed his gameplan when Nelson went down and more emphasis was put on torching the weak CB for the Giants rather than emphasizing getting Jordy the ball.

Though it is hard to prove the above since Nelson's injury was coupled with DRC's injury...perhaps it was the combo of the two which allowed the Packers to make the best defense in the playoffs look like the defense many expected the Packers to be able to field.

The Giants were terrible against the TE as well. The problem with Cook is that you can't count on him. I can recall one pass in the Giants game where Rodgers threw the ball to the outside on a long pass but Cook cut off his route and the ball went incomplete. There is a reason that teams have been willing to let Cook walk despite his prodigious physical talents. I agree that Cook should be an emphasis, it's just tough to count on him.
