That’s just not true at all. Using Jordy as an example when he was well behind solidified receiving options in Jennings and Driver is slightly disingenuous.

Adams was also behind two guys who both had phenomenal seasons in 2014. He had a sophomore slump and then came alive in his 3rd season. Very common in the league.

So you're saying it took them three years to earn Rodgers trust? Obviously they had to elevate their level of play to earn more opportunity given our roster at the time, but Rodgers also had to trust them with said opportunity. We see the same thing now, no established wr2 and Rodgers not giving our second year players any love... When MVS is targeted heavily he does well (last year was on pace for > 1000 yards) but Rodgers doesn't target him nearly often enough.

If these young receivers are not where Rodgers is expecting them to be or they are not coming back when AR has to improvise #12 isn't going to throw it to them. He throws it to Kumerow and Lazard and these guys aren't all that experienced.

Much of those young receivers taking time to get on the same page with Rodgers was a product of both the offense we ran and the fact, we always had good pass catchers in front of them. I have zero doubt that being pressed into a bigger role in the offense would have seen Jordy, Adams, etc putting up much bigger rookie numbers than MVS. You could just see they were better receivers. Better at everything they did.

Moore couldn't catch. MVS hasn't really progressed and EQB hasn't had much of a chance to. and while we could use another WR, that much is being made obvious, we have 2 legitimate RB's some TE's besides graham that could be getting more looks and ways to move the ball. They're still in year 1 of a new coach and offense. There is a lot to learn and as long as they learn from it, we'll be better for it even when we do get that next WR.

In 2020 I want Rodgers to use what receivers he has, all of them, and not focus on one guy (Adams)... and get rid of the ball quicker....he's played his best football this year when he was forced to use the entire receiver corp

YES! Preach it, brother! The past three weeks he has targeted Adams more than the rest of his receivers combined. Adding other receivers isn't going to change that. The problem isn't one of his receivers needing to somehow earn his trust (does anyone have a clue how a receiver is to do this?). The problem is his refusal to have faith in his receivers! Rodgers advocated and nearly begged for Kumerow and Lazard to be on the field. Now that he has them, he still refuses to throw to them now that #17 is back in the lineup.

Hopefully this is LaFleur treating this year like 2010 - where Starks looked legit, but really didn't break out until the playoffs. Maybe he has a hidden plan for the playoffs and is going to unleash someone nobody in the league expects. Here we come Tonyan or Vitali!

It seems your concerns are more with the coaches then. It's hard to get him a bunch of targets when he's barely playing 1/3 of the snaps on offense. Which has been actually dropping dramatically after the Lions game - which coincides with the game Lazard stepped up. Maybe he's dinged up who knows.
