Here's what Randall said during an interview with Michael Cohen shortly before the start of the 2017 season:When you feel like you’re one of the best corners up in the league, you just really can’t wait to showcase your skills.
right. that's what i meant my "lately." he's been humbled since then...especially this week after being taken to the woodshed lol.

Randall gave that interview less than a month ago. I highly doubt he has been humbled over the past four weeks.

he's been poor the first quarter of the season with relentless criticism (including the preseason), and as i said...especially after this week.

There's no doubt Randall has performed at a poor level in coverage over the first four weeks of the season. Unfortunately I don't believe he has changed his mindset by any means though.

well...if he hasn't changed his mindset after being pulled from a game, being publicly shamed by fans and press, and a private dressing down by the head coach, it really will be unfortunate. as i think someone previously said, this is a pivotal point in his career. if he doesn't learn from this he won't get a second contract from this team. the tone of his interview yesterday isn't a good sign.

It seems to me that Randall completely lacks the ability to fairly evaluate his performance. If he doesn't change within a heartbeat it's possible he won't be around with the Packers in the foreseeable future.

Blasphemy! Acquire talent 1/4 into the season? I don't see TT trading for anyone right now, unless it's a 7th round conditional pick. The CB position isn't in nearly as bad of shape as it was last year at this time and TT sat on his hands all last season with the hand he dealt himself.

I don't see it happening either, but the Giants and Chargers are two teams who could end up deciding to pull the plug on the current roster with their awful starts to the season.

The Giants might be inclined to trade DRC before the deadline after their terrible start to the season. It's unlikely the Packers are interested in making a move for him though.

I feel that this is a rearranged repetition of exactly what I said.

It seems to me that you're the only poster around here taking exception if I agree with you.

Oh Captain, my Captain, I am elated to be agreed with by you. It just wasn't clear that that's what you were intending to do.

This is the Packers. He gets at least 2 more years no matter what.

he signed a 4 year contract. he got next year and that's it...unless he drinks a magic potion and turns into Al Harris.

If Randall continues to struggle this year it's possible the Packers decide to part ways with him next offseason.

and take a 2.5m cap hit. nah. not TT. Randall will just be a back-up back-up at worst, and finish his deal.

The Packers would only take $1 million in dead money counting against the cap by releasing Randall next offseason as his base salary and roster bonus aren't guaranteed for the 2018 season.

I think the only way the Packers "give up" on Randall is if his attitude doesn't change and they feel he is a distraction or a hinderance to the team. I just don't see them purging a first rounder (before his rookie contract is up) that easily. He has been a disappointment, but I think they still see potential in him.

i don't see it...unless he becomes a cancer.

Or the Packers are confident of having six cornerbacks they can trust on the roster and continue to ignore the possibility of moving Randall to free safety.

Anyone notice Micah Hyde has 3 picks (one more than our entire team) and Julius Peppers has 4.5 sacks, which is almost half our team total of 10?
