Week has gone as well as a defeat could get. Lions and Vikings lose and so do Cowboys as well.

I hope the players watch the tape and gain some insights.

I'm back to us having a equal chance against them. There are no underdogs in this game.

Good Defensive game there Cowboys at NO.

I like our chances. Dallas showed some vulnerability there.
We’re starting to see more consistency on O. We have to FINISH drives. We turned the ball over 3 times last Thursday in scoring position, that’s the kiss of death. Most teams can’t overcome that deficiency. Last Thursday was a likely a different outcome had we scored on a couple early misses. We moved the ball up and down the field for the first time this season.. The Offense is still a work in progress, but progress it was.

I hope to see some more Vitale or some Dexter

GB 27 Dallas 23

Tyron Smith has a high ankle sprain, there's no way he'll be good to go for this game, which is big.

Traditionally Rodgers has played well there. Dallas has been hyped up more than usual this year though, and that's saying something.

I've felt pretty good about playing the Cowboys in recent years. This is the first time I wonder if they might have the better team. Partly because we are still in transition. But I definitely think we can win. Whether we will or not, we'll have to see.

Didn't watch the NO/Dallas game. Is NO's run D any good? Zeke didn't do anything.

Can the Packers stop the run? Not the last three weeks. Thursday night's game was one of the worst defensive run performances that I have ever witnessed. I doubt it hss, much to do with Petine.d linemen were getting pushed around all over the field. It was simply a physical butt kicking. I'd like to see Kingsley Keke get the start. He can't be any worse. Cowboys will try to do what the Eagles did. Run between the tackles. They will likely use a lot of 2 te formations. Red zone woes can be chalked up to being one dimensional and not having guys that can get open in the red zone other than Adams. If Adams can't go, then I see a route. If he's healthy, then the game will be much closer but I can't see the defense stop the Cowboys from controlling the clock.

The Saints entered the game allowing 134.3 rushing yards per game but were able to slow down the Cowboys ground game (45 yards on 20 attempts). Hopefully the Packers will be able to achieve a similar feat on Sunday.

They still will beat us tho. The Packers are like second to last on third down conversions, and they can’t stop the run. This could be a game we get mopped on the road.

The Packers need to commit to stopping the run this game. I understand that is a tough feat when you run a 3-3-5 base you basically want teams to run. We do not want the Cowboys to run Sunday afternoon, so what adjustments do the packers make to stop the run?

FWIW the Packers offense is 27th in third down conversions. While they have to improve in that area a lot of people put too much stock into that number.

It almost looked like the Saints had the same idea Tramon had week 1. The clogged up the middle, gave Zeke no room and made Dak be a QB. And they trusted their DBs to make the plays on the outside.

Had two huge TOs as well, FF on Witten and Zeke. It appeared the Cowboys had no answers when Zeke couldn't get moving because they couldn't open it up with Cooper.

Had the Packers won on Thursday, I think I would be a little more worried about this game. The fact both teams are coming off a hard loss, both teams should have a little more motivation to come out Sunday and perform. The Packers got an extra 3 days to stew in that loss at home.

I get a feeling this was a tactical mistake as the OC didn't have Dak throwing for more than 10 yards all game, despite the run getting nowhere.

We need to fix the run D as I'm sure the plan for Dak to throw more will be #1 in their lists. Can't allow both run and pass to dominate us.

If the cowboys see what I have seen the last three games, they will keep the ball on the ground and run it down our throats. I do not know what's wrong with our run defense but I look for another lose if it cannot be fixed.

Both D's (NO & Dallas) looked great last night. I'm VERY worried that our O-line will get overwhelmed, AR will have 2 seconds maximum, and AR will be throwing it away or taking big hits.

I'd love to see GB come out in 1WR, 2TE, FB & RB sets consistently ~ run the ball, run some more, and occasionally hit a TE over the middle or a back swinging out. WR is decoy 95% of the passes attempted ~ tell AR he gets to throw 3 passes max. to the WR all night & to use those 3 wisely. Without committing to the run this O will shrivel and die ~ time for the line to take some pride in the run game.

Packers need to sell out against the run all game. Put the ball in Dak hands. Dak is like 1-8 when Zek doesn't get more than 75yards.

You can’t put “too much stock ” in this something that is costing you games. Their inability to sustain drives and score points is nothing to brush off. Give me a break

Nice sentiment but we probably have to throw to set up any kind of a run game...depending on the front four we face.

They're not invincible as neither the Colts vs Raiders or Rams against the Bucs were.

Hell Brady and the Pats looked bad against Buffalo yesterday

BUT ... I fear the Saints may have done us a disservice. Get a team like Dallas and a player like Randall Cobb fired up and they will be just like Philly was this last game.

Did you watch the Saints/Cowboys game? Last 3 minutes of the game EVERYONE on the planet new Saints needed to run the ball... and Kamara & Murray gashed the Cowboys repeatedly for 3+ yd. runs.

Over the past 3 years how has GB's "pass to setup the run" plan worked? Until GB commits to some kind of running attack the offense will stagnate.

Well, don't want to stagnate our offense by not getting any first downs either. There has to be some decent blocking in order to run. Still think we should try out the rookie at center.

Thing is we may have to with this going on

https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.c...-adams-jamaal-williams-not-practicing-monday/

Man, if old stonehands Graham doesn't pick his game up we could see a lot of yelling from Rodgers out there on Sunday
I remember when Sterling Sharpe had turf toe all year. It looked like it really hurt. He never practiced. But he played very well in the games. I hope Adams can do the same because I don't think anything but time will make it not hurt. But I really cannot compare his with Sterling's cause I just don't know. Just that they are both called turf toe.

Could be, course the concerning part there is that he (Sharpe) retired early.
