Haha I can tell you really hate McDaniels huh?

I'd rather have a HC who has proven he doesn't need to ride a great QB or HCs coattails to succeed. This is the knock on McCarthy and maybe it's true, but McD has not proven he is any different in this regard.

I heard it through the grapevine that if or when McDaniels is hired? that he doesn’t plan on retaining Pettine. He’s got three guys in mind...2 familiar names most of us know. Steve Spagnuolo, Mike Nolan, and another unfamiliar name? Are on his radar. Makes sense since He’s worked with both those guys in the past I believe and has had a working relationship with them.

I like Pettine, He did a good job with a bunch of Arena league talent and injuries on defense. Now there is an outside chance that he keeps Pettine if Gute and Murphy insist and says he’s part of the pkg...however I don’t believe in making a news coach retain guys. I’d like Pettine to get another year with a healthy defense and a real pass rusher to see if he can duplicate the success he had in New York and Cleveland. We shall see.
I’d rather see Pettine stick around - but that should be the decision of the HC. He can consult with Gluten and Murphy, but the ultimate decision on coaching staff should belong to the HC.

IMO, not keeping Pettine would be one more strike against him.

I wonder if some of the reason McDaniels backed out of Indy is Irsay, the owner. Irsay seems to be a little kooky in my opinion

Rumor is Bellichek wanted to sabotage the Colts for starting the phony deflate gate scandal and decided to use McDaniels as his hatchetman. I doubt in either case he would do so again as we've had no beef with him or Kraft.

But either way, McDaniels rodeo clown tactics in Denver and St Louis leading up to Indy prove he learns nothing and should be blackballed from ever getting another HC job.

Im a bit sad as I think Pettine did a good job for what he had to work with, which was a bunch of TT bums. :(:(

I think Josh is the only candidate that Rodgers could trust.

Say that again please. It’s not only about finding a guy who can replace MM..but also a guy Rodgers can trust and communicate with. I mentioned this in the past that MM and #12 hardly ever had any kind of dialogue on the sidelines. Some of you might not see it as a big deal but MM is the guy calling the plays. I honestly believe at some point Rodgers and MM had a rift and Rodgers stopped trusting him.

When McDaniels becomes HC and you, me, my wife, pokerbrat, and Jessica Alba are at the Superbowl in our box seats, we will post a picture for Packfanincarolina.
Glad to see you got me sitting between your Wife and Jessica Alba.....someone is getting lucky that night, maybe times 2!

Good to know MM and Rodgers are both mature enough to set their differences aside for the betterment of winning and the team and not both act like stubborn babies and contribute to a few losing seasons. Glad that didn't happen. Oh... Wait... *I wanna call the plays* "No I wanna call the plays!" *No me!* "NOOO MEEE!"
