Well, I hope you're right. There's something right about Favre winning the George Halas Trophy though, Bear killer that he was.Again though, not for long.
Rodgers only has five more seasons than Favre, time is running out.Considering how many years he's been in the league, that's not saying too much.

Getting to an extra Super Bowl is nothing to be sneezed at though. Just getting to the NFCCG is an accomplishment of sorts, incomplete as it may be.True, but that was obviously not what was being talked about.

Been a Packer fan for a long time and I have never heard of the Halas trophy.I enjoyed when Rodgers won the Halas trophy in Chicago in 2010. Then the Super Bowl. That was cool.
What is Rodgers doing or not doing that makes you believe he is not in the system? I see him missing with not leading receivers well, and I see him going deep when a lot of times he should be going underneath because the deep receiver is covered. But that is about it. I assume the W/Os are running their routes and the O line is up to snuff with their blocking assignments. So what does the system say to do? Do you think Rodgers is changing the play too often at the line of scrimmage?

wiki says:Didn't they name the AFCC trophy after Lamar Hunt?
Since 1984,[1] each winner of the AFC Championship Game has also received the Lamar Hunt Trophy, named after the founder of both the AFL and the Kansas City Chiefs, Lamar Hunt.
That's used by a lot of teams across the league, usually kills the pass play, switches to a run. Doesn't really feed into his changing the plays to hold the ball and go down field mantra thoughIt is hard to know how many times Rodgers is changing the play unless we hear him say "kill kill!" before the snap. Rodgers biggest issue right now is his accuracy is off compared to his past performances.
If it is usually changing to a run; it is not real smart. That's used by a lot of teams across the league, usually kills the pass play, switches to a run. Doesn't really feed into his changing the plays to hold the ball and go down field mantra though

He does, the all pretty much doI used the kill kill as an example. I don't know if AR ever uses this.
? The examples I used were Bart Starr and Terry Bradshaw. Or Maybe I’m not understanding your point of bringing Favre into that conversation.Rodgers has as many championships as Favre.

Gotcha. Well Rodgers is tee’d up and primed to pass Favre. He’s gotta win 3 games and it all starts tomorrow. My bad, missed that you were talking about Bradshaw.
Oh ye of little faithGotcha. Well Rodgers is tee’d up and primed to pass Favre. He’s gotta win 3 games and it all starts tomorrow.
This season is kind of a bonus season to me. Any wins going forward are like extra credit. I never expected them to get past the NFC game at best. I’m pleasantly surprised
I'll have what OldSchool101 is having.Well Rodgers is tee’d up and primed to pass Favre. He’s gotta win 3 games and it all starts tomorrow.
i didn't say it's all rodgers way. i said they compromised. i think it's obvious Rodgers personality is the stronger of the two though. watch the way they interact on the sidelines. MLF is like a puppy around him. lol
I agreed with you but I still can't help but wonder if Rodgers is even looking much at another receiver. He was bummed early on when Kumerow dropped a pass and then towards the end, he threw a ball to Adams with 3 defenders on him and I thought l saw Kumerow over the middle and open. Don't think it can only be Adams. But he sure looked good last night.I do have a SLIGHT concern. During the game, I did see Rodgers miss a few short passes to when the pressure was starting to come at him, and he did hesitate a few times. Rodgers HAS to be quick and decisive this next game, otherwise it's going to be a long day for him. I know he'll try a few home run throws a few times, but he has to take what the defense gives him, but with that being said I hope Lazard's injury isn't serious because hardly anyone than Davante got open today and you know San Fran is going to try to take him out of the equation. I feel Rodgers is gonna have to scramble if he doesn't see anything.
