Did you completely miss the part where we lost the best football player on the planet 5 weeks ago? You can pick ANY offense in the NFL and Hundley would suck just as much. You don't get rid of a GM because of the ineptitude of your backup QB. Get some perspective already.
Who do you get rid of then? Or does everyone get a do over next year because arod got hurt?[/QUOTE]
You get rid of Capers. That's who you get rid of. He is the clearest problem. The offensive woes are directly attributable to the fact that the offense is designed around AR's unique abilities and it must be judged on its effectiveness with him on the field. There is no problem there.

It wont be enough. Wish it was but it wont be. TT is holding us back from having the talent Rodgers deserves even when he does come back.

I wanted TT gone way before this point. I wanted him gone after last season. If you go back to my old posts I saw this coming. I didn't have Rodgers getting hurt but I chalked this whole season up as "too little too late". Also, Hundley being the back up and still being the back up is on TT for your information. You gain some perspective, Our whole operation is stale and were a joke without the best player on the planet. This isn't a knee jerk reaction, I have been watching TT fail at building the roster for years now. The real perspective here is were a pile of sh+t without Aaron Rodgers,

I don't care how long you have hated TT. It's completely immaterial to the facts at hand. You do NOT throw out your GM because of the ******* backup QB. If Rodgers wasn't hurt we would in all likelihood be 9-1 or 8-2 right now at worst. Do you not realize that Rodgers' window is about 4-6 years and if you start over completely from scratch you are throwing away the first 2 or 3 of those? The lunacy around here is mind-numbing!

This comment drives me absolutely insane.

So because AR is AR we intentionally draft/acquire inferior players because AR will make them look better then what they really are?

Murphy would be stupid to fire his GM over a backup QB. Unreal!

Keeping these failures around to fail again next year is mind blowing!

What's mind numbing is the inability for you to recognize that this team didn't develop deficiencies when AR went down. When AR went down, all it did was magnify the deficiencies. Many on this forum have alluded to those very deficiencies for quite some time now, while others have either failed to see them or turned a blind eye.

You're also failing to realize that even with AR, the team has not appeared in a Super Bowl in 7 years. Even with the greatest quarterback talent in the history of the league. What does that tell you? This team is way more flawed than simply not having a viable QB.

TT's draft picks and lack of ability to successfully use free agency is "mind-numbing" if anything and I disagree. Dorsey turned the Chiefs around in 1 season so unless your trying to do it the old fashioned TT way(more mind-numbing) its not impossible. There are more problems with the Packers right now then just the back up QB too. Were like a JV team out there trying to compete.

I'm sure Hundley will not be the backup QB next year.
He isn’t the only 1 that needs to be replaced, as poor as this team is you can’t put it all on hundley right now. Special teams stinks, offense sucks, and as much as I despise capers his defense played well enough to win today, and even you have said he needs to go. There needs to be some accountability.

I agree. You get rid of him because he has put together a roster full of mostly stiffs and jags that rivals the Browns in ineptitude.

Rodgers even said a few years ago before we got Julius Peppers that during pre game warm ups he felt like we were a JV team out there. Nothing has changed since then but several more TT draft picks and failures. This has nothing to do with me hating TT for any other reason then he is failing. I wish he could of made it work but the proof is in the pudding that he can't. Time to move on with a more innovative mind.

For the last time that is just the tip of the iceberg. The overall strength of the roster isn't where it needs to be. Everything from wrong people getting paid too much to deals not getting done that should to mediocre drafts for the most part has left us as laughable losers.

Teams that have not appeared in a Super Bowl in the last 7 years: Bills, Dolphins, Jets, Bengals, Browns, Jaguars, Titans, Texans, Colts, Chiefs, Chargers, Raiders, Eagles, Cowboys, Redskins, Vikings, Lions, Bears, Saints, Rams, Cardinals. Teams that have Won a Super Bowl in the last 7 years: Patriots (2), Broncos, Seahawks, Ravens, Giants, Packers. Add the Falcons, Panthers, 49ers, and steelers to the above list of 21 teams and you have the list of teams that have not won a Super Bowl in the last 7 years. I'm not too upset about those stats.

Blah blah blah. None of those teams have Aaron Rodgers.

The man wins 10+ games in his sleep with no defense and no running game, and even gets to a couple of NFCCGs. If you're okay with those results while neglecting to give Rodgers the necessary talent to win titles then more power to you. Me? I would prefer to cash in more than once with the best signal caller of all time.

Will you be upset when we get "boat raced" out of Heinz Field next Sunday 40-0 or so? Or will you just blame the whole thing on Hundley and live in this glass world idea that this team is talented?

It's becoming clear that Hundley is going to be the TT apologists scapegoat here when TT drafted his *** and kept him around for 3 years and MM talked him up and called him "his guy" the whole way.

btw the Cowboys just dropped 2 straight without Elliot... I guess they have zero talent as well.
