May 19, 2014 1:49 PM - bigblue bay packers: we miss it three & four, have no reason to think we shouldn't have one hell of a season but we have got to keep our players on the feild. GO PACK GO!!!!!!!!!
May 19, 2014 3:34 PM - TeamTundra: Just read that the Packers signed Colt Lyerla to a contract.
May 19, 2014 4:09 PM - Sunshine885500: Great move for the team
May 19, 2014 4:22 PM - thequick12: Knew TT would end up with Lyerla a lot of people said no way he would touch him but TT smarter than that the guy is gonna add another dimension to the offense
May 19, 2014 4:24 PM - thequick12: Gonna be Quarless, bostick, Lyerla, and Rodgers on the 53 to start season.
May 19, 2014 6:12 PM - Sunshine885500: It's crazy but I am more excited about Lyerla then Rodgers at TE. Maybe it's the fact that he would have been drafted higher.
May 19, 2014 6:27 PM - Vltrophy: Lyerla stays outta trouble & I'm sure the Packers will help him stay that way. He can make a big difference if he really wants to
May 19, 2014 6:58 PM - WOLF PACK: he can be an all star
May 19, 2014 7:13 PM - rodell330: I told you guys there would be At least 4 tightends on the active roster! It's been like that since TT took over. If you ask me that's to dang many but Hey
May 19, 2014 7:54 PM - 7thFloorRA: Its only terrible when Ryan Taylor and Stoneburner are part of the quartet.
May 19, 2014 7:54 PM - Zartan: I dont mind the number of TE on the roster. More chance to strike gold
May 19, 2014 7:54 PM - Zartan: One of these TE is bound to be great.

May 20, 2014 12:55 AM - Green and Gold: Im very excited about this, more excited than I ever have been about an UDFA. Keep him at a rookie minimum and if he keeps his nose clean he can be an important player at a position of need in an already powerful offense.
May 20, 2014 12:56 AM - Green and Gold: Hope we get to watch him carry defenders 5 extra yards every time he touches the ball, as he plays with a lot of the physicality that Gronk does.
May 20, 2014 5:53 AM - Cheesehead625: Hell YA! Welcome Colt!
May 20, 2014 10:12 AM - rodell330: Finley was like that to
May 20, 2014 12:24 PM - Vltrophy: that would be awesome to have a TE that can actually help Rodgers out. Hope he does great & if he turns out to be as good as Gronk what a steal that would be. Another feather in TTs cap
May 20, 2014 12:54 PM - MiamiBeachPacker: Hoping that both new TEs pan out
May 20, 2014 1:28 PM - Einstein McFly: We shouldn't count on the guy to do anything at all. It'd sure be nice, but a guy with his track record is way more likely to flame out than do anything substantial in the league. I expect Bostic to be our best pass catching TE this year, and I think he could really be good at it.
May 20, 2014 3:45 PM - 7thFloorRA: Brandon Marshall seems to have turned his act around. Going from being a woman beater and the guy who was targeting in the shooting that killed the denver player on the way home from the club.
May 20, 2014 4:22 PM - Zartan: If two of our TE turn out amazing. That will really make our offense beast.
May 20, 2014 4:22 PM - Zartan: CANT WAIT!!!
May 20, 2014 6:03 PM - Vltrophy: So right Zartan. So right

May 21, 2014 6:14 AM - Vltrophy: I play fantasy football
May 21, 2014 2:18 PM - Green and Gold: Packers are currently $15 million under the adjusted salary cap.
May 21, 2014 2:18 PM - Green and Gold: That should leave the Pack in pretty good shape when it comes time to offer Nelson and Cobb extensions. Hopefully the team can break away from the freak injury streak they've had and really set up Rodgers to have a fantastic conclusion to his career. Who else is coming up for contract that will be big to extend?
May 21, 2014 6:01 PM - rodell330: Aj Hawk
May 21, 2014 6:02 PM - rodell330: Next yr they will be grooming his replacement and it's not Brad Jones
May 21, 2014 8:56 PM - longtimefan: Aj hawk wont be a big ext

May 22, 2014 1:05 AM - Green and Gold: My guess is Bulaga will be the other primary extension target with a few smaller deals to Lattimore, Boykin and Tramon Williams.
May 22, 2014 5:33 PM - 7thFloorRA: TJ Ward has an arrest warrent out. TT chose wisely
May 22, 2014 7:22 PM - rodell330: Oh stop...it's probably nothing
May 22, 2014 7:23 PM - rodell330: Remember he just signed lyerla and his history is well documented so don't jump to conclusions

May 22, 2014 9:57 PM - MiamiBeachPacker: The new X-Men movie was great!
May 22, 2014 10:59 PM - Packers_16-0: If anyone plays fantasy football and has their own league or dynasty may I join
May 23, 2014 4:53 AM - rodell330: The warrant could be anything tho
May 23, 2014 12:42 PM - Wood Chipper: Hey packers 16-0
May 23, 2014 12:42 PM - Wood Chipper: We have an annual redraft league that occurs in August
May 23, 2014 3:11 PM - Vrill: Redskins being pressured to name change again. Thoughts? Should Snyder hold firm and keep the Redskins name?
May 23, 2014 3:37 PM - Poppa San: yes. Let the PC crazies fume. Personally I have never heard of anyone refer to native Americans with that name. I've heard others and worse. My dad grew up next to a reservation in the 40's. He heard and probably used them all.
May 23, 2014 4:03 PM - MiamiBeachPacker: Keep the name. Tired of the PC police everywhere these days.
May 23, 2014 5:43 PM - Green and Gold: Jermichael Finley just had an interesting tweet. https://twitter.com/JermichaelF88/status/469955037603459073
May 23, 2014 6:06 PM - WOLF PACK: I am a member on several Native American pages and they take a great offense to the Redskin name
May 23, 2014 8:08 PM - longtimefan: wow Finley has 5 kids...3 live in Texas with their mothers and 2 sons by his wife live in GB

May 23, 2014 at 9:46 PM - Packers_16-0: Yes Finley might be coming back
May 23, 2014 at 9:52 PM - longtimefan: Since i said WOW to it, I guess I didnt....
May 24, 2014 at 5:31 AM - buggybill2003: As an overseas packer fan, who isn`t up to speed with the Redskins issue fully, I just read a valid article which detailed the racial slur. But was also interested that no offense is taken to the ATLANTA BRAVES or CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS ??? What is different about Washington ??
May 24, 2014 at 6:28 AM - joshsup17: I don't think braves or black hawks are slurs. . like the chiefs
May 24, 2014 at 7:45 AM - Wood Chipper: I find it weird how NOW we are concerned with the Redskins name. It should be less of an issue as time goes on. Not more.
May 24, 2014 at 8:36 AM - easyk83: Braves refers to American Indian Warriors, Black Hawks refers to a tribe
May 24, 2014 at 8:37 AM - easyk83: Redskins is a racist epitaph
May 24, 2014 at 8:40 AM - easyk83: the team used to be known as the Boston Braves until George Preston Marshall bought the team and changed the name, Marshall was an avowed unapologetic racist and the Skins were one of the last teams in the league to integrate.
May 24, 2014 at 9:04 AM - AmishMafia: I recall when the ACLU was demanding the Seminoles change their name. Weird thing was, the Seminole's of Florida did not want it changed. They liked it. But a few Seminoles from Georgia were offended by their own name. Don't know what to think about the Redskins. If people choose to be offended by something, there is not a lot you can do about it.
May 24, 2014 at 9:12 AM - buggybill2003: thank you gentlemen
May 24, 2014 at 10:15 AM - AmishMafia: THere have been complaints about the Braves name as well. Not sure why someone would take offense to being refered to as 'brave', but there you go.
May 24, 2014 at 11:03 AM - longtimefan: Im offended by the amish name..should be changed lol
May 24, 2014 at 11:32 AM - Shawnsta3: i don't understand the Amish by me. . there is a huge population (in relative terms) of them bordering a town near me. Yet they use cars, cell phones etc. guess they must be lenient around here.
May 24, 2014 at 11:42 AM - buggybill2003: I saw a documentary once which said they carefully flex rules to allow things, for example Amish cannot have modern stuff such as telephones inthe home, so they cleverly built out buildings and put phones in there instead. Therefore no rule was broken.
May 24, 2014 at 11:44 AM - buggybill2003: Plus there are different ethnic groups within the Amish religion, some more devout than others
May 24, 2014 at 11:44 AM - Shawnsta3: Yeah good point, i believe they won't own a car, but they'll be more than happy to catch a ride to town in yours.
May 24, 2014 at 11:52 AM - buggybill2003: :roflmao:
May 24, 2014 at 11:54 AM - buggybill2003: I never knew my wife was Amish
May 24, 2014 at 12:25 PM - AmishMafia: There are those in every group. Amish are no different.
May 24, 2014 at 4:42 PM - Vltrophy: can't please everyone
May 24, 2014 at 5:43 PM - Dan115: just change the Red to Blue--- Blue Skins

May 29, 2014 7:34 PM - Vltrophy: What's weird about Nix's contract is that he gets paid what the 21st draft pick signed for last year + a modest 1% increase. Modest as far as the NFL goes

May 30, 2014 8:45 AM - Green and Gold: Colt Lyerla seems to be determined. I like that. Let us not forget, Donald Driver used to steal cars and lead police on a high speed chase. Look at the man he is now, change can happen!
May 30, 2014 8:54 AM - MiamiBeachPacker: I'm going with 20+ sacks
May 30, 2014 2:51 PM - rodell330: 20+ sacks for Matthews and peppers combined??
May 30, 2014 3:31 PM - Vltrophy: In one of my leagues someone wants to trade me Colt Lyra for Seferian Jenkins. In ur opinion is it a good trade
May 30, 2014 3:50 PM - Vrill: No i'd wait and see if Colt makes the Pack first.
May 30, 2014 4:10 PM - MiamiBeachPacker: Don't make the trade just yet
May 30, 2014 4:10 PM - MiamiBeachPacker: And yes, 20+ sacks from those two
May 30, 2014 5:42 PM - rodell330: Yea that's doable
May 30, 2014 6:30 PM - joshsup17: its sad to see people writing him off already...who are we to judge someonne we have never met. I am sure if he came off as a drug addict thug to Teddy, he wouldn't be here
May 30, 2014 8:53 PM - MiamiBeachPacker: He was an undrafted free agent. There's no guarantee he even makes the roster. It's being realistic, not writing him off.

Jun 2, 2014 6:38 PM - Vltrophy: I'm so freakin tired of these cry baby NFL players suing the NFL b/c they got concussions or saying the teams handed out pain pills like candy. HELLO!!!!! This is football! They knew shat they were getting into & I doubt the teams made them or shoved the pain pills down their throats. 9 out 10 football players would do the same same thing over again if they knew then what they know now.
Jun 2, 2014 6:40 PM - Vltrophy: I bet they're not willing to give back what little money they have left. Maybe that's part of the reason they're suing b/c they need the money or want it for their families

Jun 2, 2014 at 9:31 PM - Green and Gold: If Sherrod is really healthy and turns into a solid linemen, he could be a great contributor at Tackle or Guard when the need for rotation arises. That would be awesome for him and Bulaga both to have a solid year.
Jun 2, 2014 at 9:32 PM - Green and Gold: If we know anything about this team it's that at some point there will be injuries.
Jun 3, 2014 at 12:09 PM - Vltrophy: Marino said he accidently sued the NFL. How do u accidently sue someone?

Jun 3, 2014 at 3:51 PM - AmishMafia: Maybe Marino had too many knocks to the noggin and didn't comprehend he was filing a frivilous law suit.
Jun 3, 2014 at 5:15 PM - MiamiBeachPacker: According to the radio down here, the lawyer included Marino's name without his knowledge.

Jun 4, 2014 at 6:27 AM - Green and Gold: If Aaron Rodgers alters his game to take fewer sacks, wouldn't his turnovers likely increase, regardless of other stats?
Jun 4, 2014 at 1:01 PM - rodell330: Kap us watt overpaid on his new contract. He's a unique qb but he will never take over a game with his arm. Unless he's playing us of course smh. But he's not going to be Aaron Rodgers or Drew Bree's throwing the ball.

Jun 5, 2014 10:17 PM - rodell330: Raiders interested in Finley, tell you what the Raiders can make some noise if they
Jun 5, 2014 10:18 PM - rodell330: Stay healthy. Talented roster
Jun 6, 2014 4:47 AM - Vrill: Oakland seems to be a popular darkhorse pick
Jun 6, 2014 4:53 AM - rodell330: If James jones turns out to be the James Jones who had 14 tds then that's a bonus. That defense should be stout tho.
Jun 6, 2014 9:17 AM - Einstein McFly: "Talented roster" is something that you can say about most teams that are horrible year after year because they're picking early in the draft every season. That Carson Palmer trade made things so much harder for them.
Jun 6, 2014 12:52 PM - Green and Gold: My gut is that we'll sign both. I don't know how we'll do it, but there was a rumor that we were going to prioritize Nelson this offseason, and do Cobb next offseason.
Jun 6, 2014 1:35 PM - SoonerPack: I think they both stay. Neither of them strike me as prima donnas so I think as long as they are offered reasonable contracts they will resign. They get to work with 12 and know that they have a legitimate shot at the title for many years to come...
Jun 6, 2014 3:42 PM - joshsup17: oh thanks ltf !!
Jun 6, 2014 5:56 PM - rodell330: Cobb is more valuable than Nelson. Love Jordy but Cobb can play all over the field.
Jun 6, 2014 7:33 PM - Vltrophy: u may be splitting hairs. Nelson makes those extraordinary awesome catches & manages to get both feet in w/very little room if any to spare
Jun 6, 2014 7:46 PM - Vltrophy: there's no way the Packers let them walk or even sniff FA
Jun 6, 2014 8:03 PM - easyk83: Cobb is the more versatile athlete but Nelson is the more versatile receiver. Whereas Nelson is very effective in the slot and dominant on the outside Cobb is very good in the slot and solid along the sidelines. I think Nelson is a better complement to a more run heavy Offense.

Jun 7, 2014 4:12 AM - Vrill: Nelson also strikes me as the kind of WR who will play until hes 35-36 and still be effective.
Jun 7, 2014 5:21 AM - easyk83: To my eyes Cobb needs to have a Nelson type receiver on the team to be at his maximum level of effectiveness in the slot. As good as Boykin was last year I'm not he's ever going to draw safety help to the outside like Nelson does.
Jun 7, 2014 12:22 PM - Green and Gold: Davante Adams burns Casey Hayward:
You must be logged in to see this image or video!
Jun 7, 2014 12:24 PM - Green and Gold: Cobb is a young, rising star. He won't be allowed to walk. Nelson is a top ten receiver in the league and Rodgers' favorite target. He is also indispensable(I think he's better than Jennings ever was and we offered him a good contract before he left).
Jun 7, 2014 12:25 PM - Green and Gold: I love what Adams brings to the table, and TT has a great 2nd round history for WR's.
Jun 7, 2014 2:38 PM - Vrill: Chris Harper is looking good too im hearing. That maybe bad news for Janis's chance of making the roster this year.

Jun 10, 2014 9:36 AM - Green and Gold: I think we have too much talent on defense for them to be a disappointment again. (Daniels, peppers, Mathews, Jones, Hayward, shields, Williams, Hyde ,and haha.) And we can only get better on offense with a healthy offensive line and the addition of Adams. And who knows maybe we hit gold with lyerla. I'm really excited for this team.
Jun 10, 2014 9:38 AM - Green and Gold: I think I'd take this year's offense over 2011's, provided everyone stays healthy. Rodgers, with a solid offensive line, great receivers AND a great running game will be incredible at full strength.
Jun 10, 2014 9:41 AM - rodell330: To early to tell on the rooks but we should be a favorite to win the North. I need to see the defense
Jun 10, 2014 1:35 PM - Vrill: We dont need our defense to be great. It just needs to be middle of the pack. As long as its ranked in that 12-15 area, this team will be unstoppable. Everyone knows our offense will be top 3 for a fact.
Jun 10, 2014 2:44 PM - bigblue bay packers: in 50 years of being a packer fan i feel as good about this team as any , but getting hurt seem to be our biggest problem we have got to over come. GO PACK GO !!!!!!!!
Jun 10, 2014 2:53 PM - Vrill: I like our chances
Jun 10, 2014 4:31 PM - rodell330: The dang injuries. When will it end!!
Jun 10, 2014 5:44 PM - adambr2: Morgan Burnett: M.D. was a really good safety. Very underrated. He’s more athletic than what you really think he is. He was good back there.
Jun 10, 2014 6:07 PM - Green and Gold: Packers sign Shaun Lewis - LB Oklahoma State
Jun 10, 2014 6:07 PM - Green and Gold: Anybody watch this kid in college? Could he be a contributor on defense or is this a special teams body?
Jun 10, 2014 6:09 PM - Green and Gold: Packers comeback win vs. Cowboys. Happiness in a 2-minute clip. :)

Jun 11, 2014 4:37 AM - Vrill: #RiseUp RT @FalconsJAdams: Falcons linebacker Sean Weatherspoon ruptured his Achilles today and will miss the 2014 season. - Big loss for the Birds, ouch.
Jun 11, 2014 4:45 AM - Einstein McFly: All I've been able to find is that he's 5'11 226 and ran a 4.9. I hope he's instinctive as hell...
Jun 11, 2014 1:05 PM - rodell330: Now let's keep our fingers crossed that Richard Sherman or wilson ruptures there's.
Jun 11, 2014 1:06 PM - rodell330: Jk....kinda.
Jun 11, 2014 1:06 PM - rodell330: *theirs

Jun 13, 2014 6:25 PM - Vrill: Chiefs release CB Brandon Flowers. Wonder if TT is considering it?
Jun 13, 2014 8:58 PM - rodell330: We don't need any more corners IMO. Don't be shocked to see Minnesota or Detroit go after him tho.
