Cheesehead625: Someone ask him about ILB, NT and Tightend
May 10, 2014 at 3:33 PM -
easyk83: i expected him to grab a true NT this draft
May 10, 2014 at 3:33 PM -
easyk83: and an ILB earlier in the draft
May 10, 2014 at 3:34 PM -
Carl: Sometimes need and value just don't match up for certain positions.
May 10, 2014 at 3:34 PM -
The_Virus: i wonder how much interest GB would have in Finley once he is cleared... they seemed to be pretty quiet while other teams were flying him in for interviews
May 10, 2014 at 3:34 PM -
jaybadger82: Like this TT expression: He's a real "look you in the eye, grown man"
May 10, 2014 at 3:34 PM -
brandon2348: There are several good ILB that didn't made it through draft. I expect a free agent or two there at ILB
May 10, 2014 at 3:34 PM -
Cheesehead625: lmao
May 10, 2014 at 3:34 PM -
Cheesehead625: ted
May 10, 2014 at 3:34 PM -
easyk83: Packers tend to be leery about players with neck injuries
May 10, 2014 at 3:35 PM -
Cheesehead625: "haha, it sounds funny to say that"
May 10, 2014 at 3:35 PM -
The_Virus: thats why i just dont see them signing him even to a 1 year deal
May 10, 2014 at 3:35 PM -
Cheesehead625: there it is
May 10, 2014 at 3:37 PM -
jaybadger82: ugh- more talk about bradford on the outside. at this point, looks like folks can scrap notions of turning him into an ILB
May 10, 2014 at 3:37 PM -
Cheesehead625: Ted always sounds like he's had a few
May 10, 2014 at 3:37 PM -
Carl: I hope Sam gets drafted. If he doesn't people, people will say it's because of his sexuality. In reality though, he's not a great prospect. He's kinds stuck in between a DE and OLB.
May 10, 2014 at 3:38 PM -
brandon2348: yeah but he was SEC defensive player of the year
May 10, 2014 at 3:38 PM -
jaybadger82: 3xWRs in this draft is crazy. Wouldn't shock me if Nelson and Cobb are both allowed to walk.
May 10, 2014 at 3:39 PM -
The_Virus: they wont both walk
May 10, 2014 at 3:39 PM -
Cheesehead625: You know I wish the best for sam and I wish people wouldn't make stupid jokes about him and our team name if he got drafted by us
May 10, 2014 at 3:39 PM -
Cheesehead625: I don't care about sexuality, but that would be a lot for the guy to put up with
May 10, 2014 at 3:39 PM -
The_Virus: these picks need time to develop
May 10, 2014 at 3:39 PM -
Carl: Yes, but based on what all the scouts are saying and his athletic ability, not a good prospect.
May 10, 2014 at 3:40 PM -
Cheesehead625: it's really too bad
May 10, 2014 at 3:40 PM -
brandon2348: that's what I was thinking with this land rush of receivers. No Cobb replacement though in this draft.
May 10, 2014 at 3:40 PM -
The_Virus: that will always happen... people are saying stuff about Rodgers and all that... thats all they can say because when it comes to it, they cant talk bad about his play
May 10, 2014 at 3:40 PM -
Cheesehead625: honestly, I don't know too much about him, but he seemed to be a heavily touted guy until he came out
May 10, 2014 at 3:41 PM -
Cheesehead625: it's just stupid to care what another person does with their body or life choices
May 10, 2014 at 3:41 PM -
Cheesehead625: but we should probably keep this about football
May 10, 2014 at 3:41 PM -
Cheesehead625: Is there going to be a MM press conference?
May 10, 2014 at 3:42 PM -
brandon2348: When is the last time you have seen the SEC defensive player of the year not get drafted in the first round? let alone the whole draft?
May 10, 2014 at 3:42 PM -
Carl: Agree Cheesehead. I just think him not being drafted won't be because of his sexuality, but people will make a big deal out of it and say that it was.
May 10, 2014 at 3:42 PM -
Carl: It's happened to Heisman winners. Some guys just don't project well.
May 10, 2014 at 3:43 PM -
brandon2348: Either way someone will give him a chance.
May 10, 2014 at 3:43 PM -
jaybadger82: Carl, I think it's impossible to evaluate how his sexuality may have played into Sam's scouting. Just like it's impossible to know whether Thornton would have been available later.
