First of all it appears highly unlikely their will be any offseason workouts this year as well.
The prognosis is for general public to have access to one vaccine or another by April. I'm sure the NFL players will have it mandated and available to be able to start team activities by then.

The NFLPA doesn't agree with you.

This isn't even a topic for discussion this off season, this will heat up next off season and the following for sure if not next.

I agree Rodgers will be in green bay in 2021 and 2022. That is if Rodgers wants to let the green bay front office do things their way. If he doesn't he could force a trade whenever he chooses.

Now I personally think Rodgers best chance to win a sb in the next two seasons is in green bay. I think he's smart enough to know this...so my conclusion is he's postering in order to gain leverage on a contract extension with the Packers that makes him one of the highest paid qbs in the league again.

If you recall Rodgers floated the idea that he get a percentage of the salary cap so that this situation wouldn't arise...the situation being he has 3 years left on his deal and he's vastly under paid compared to his peers. Ironically that contract set up would of backfired this year due to covid but in normal times it does make sense.

In the end this could be good for green bays cap situation. They could extend Rodgers 2 years , back load the deal gaining immediate salary cap relief for 2021. Allowing them to retain jones and maybe linsley and extend adams comfortably...

Rodgers retires and takes a 10 year 100 million dollar contract to be the Jeopardy host and we all watch his smug face age into an old man..

State of Texas is a bit more optimistic
After Phase 1, who gets the vaccine next and when?
Spring 2021 is the best estimate of when vaccine will be available for the general public, but that may change. It depends on vaccine production and how quickly other vaccines become available. The Expert Vaccine Allocation Panel (EVAP) is considering what criteria could be used for later stages of vaccine distribution. This webpage will be updated when those decisions are completed.

Serious question for posters that want to trade Rodgers.

I am noticing that many of the posters that complained about falling short of going to a Super Bowl are the same ones proposing to trade Rodgers or even crazier, some are saying cut him.

So my question to those fans: "How do you propose to build your Super Bowl team" Also, please include a timeline, showing us all when we can expect to see the Lombardi back in Green Bay.

Not so sure I would rely on the State of Texas for COVID news, information or how to's.
I understand these are estimates.
New Hampshire: Phase 3B May and Beyond "Everyone else who has not been vaccinated."
Massachusetts: Phase 3 (Starting April 2021) "The vaccine is expected to be available to the general public"
Washington state: "While there’s still no word on when the vaccine will be available for everyone, Washington state's vaccine advisory committee met Thursday and said the goal is to have 70% of Washingtonians vaccinated in the next seven months."

Do not underestimate the political influence of the professional and collegiate sports industry to move athletes earlier in the line.

You mean "The Charles Barkley Effect"? I really hope that we as a Nation are better than that.

‘There absolutely will be a black market’: How the rich and privileged can skip the line for Covid-19 vaccines
...Athletes, politicians, and other wealthy or well-connected people have managed to get special treatment throughout the pandemic, including preferential access to testing and unapproved therapies. Early access to coronavirus vaccines is likely to be no different, medical experts and ethicists told STAT...

...“Essential workers” are expected to receive early access to the vaccine, and the definition of this category is open to interpretation by state health departments, creating a means for influential industries to lobby for priority...

There is a ridiculous article from Monday stating that AR wants a new contract and associated talk about him wanting to be traded:
https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/01/25/source-aaron-rodgers-wants-a-new-contract/

All of this is stupid. If Rodgers really wants out, good luck going to a contender. He would go to an AFC team that has enough money and cap space to afford it, which likely puts him on a bad team. If he just wants more money, IMO, he should have put an escalator clause in his contract to ensure that he remains the highest paid QB. Beyond that, Aaron is smart enough to realize that the man who just beat him (Brady) often kept his contract in the middle of the pack so that the team could afford the other players needed to win Super Bowl. Rodgers would be smart to stay with his current contract, push Gute to bring in another key free agent this offseason if possible, and try to win the Super Bowl next year in Los Angeles.

That clown Florio over there is a Packers' Troll.

I think that is much different though than a Professional Sports Organization announcing that "We are jumping to the front of the line for the vaccines".

When I say different, I am not saying either are right. What I am saying is the black eye or the negative public perception an organization like the NFL would take on by somehow leveraging themselves to put their safety over everyone else's.

You won't get a meaningful answer.

Nah Belichek that devious NFL genius will lure AR to New England with clam chowder lobster tails, and tell him, look what I did for Brady with little talent I got him Super Bowls I can do the same for you Rodgers come here its a deal you can’t refuse
I don't want to see it, but I'd be curious to see what Rodgers could do with Belichick, and vice versa. They probably wouldn't get along, but that's not really the point.

Easy....they live in a world where this off season we don't have to cut anyone, Jones and Linsley both take sub-deserving contracts to stay with us, JJ Watt and Allen Robinson become a Packers for veteran minimum and Micah Hyde is traded back to Green Bay from Buffalo for a 7th rounder.

Which was kind of my point. ;) Since if it was THAT easy, 32 teams would do it every year (listens to the mental math of that click in peoples brains).

How about those of us who don't see a Rodgers trade but think that having him makes it, perhaps not THAT easy, but a lot easier?

I think I understand what you are saying and yes. As I said in another post, remove Rodgers from the team over the last 13 years and what is the record of the Packers?

By all means, remove his cap hit and use it on 2-5 new players, then what? We have the Chicago Bears?

IMO Rodgers moving over to New England would make the Patriots better, but I don't think an instant dynasty with their current players.

This year convinced me that MLF is the perfect coach for Rodgers. Short of a GM that can swing for the fences and give him chess pieces like the Chiefs have. Packers issue this season (IMO) were very slight and fixable.
  1. Special Teams were atrocious.
  2. Defense was under/poorly coached.
  3. Offense is short a #2 WR threat.
#1 and #2 can hopefully be addressed with coaching changes. #3 might be difficult, but its doable. The "new issues" for 2021 and beyond are the Cap and some key free agent loses.
