The grudge in Rodgers is planted so deep he is done with Green Bay I fear....

The ONLY thing Gute I think does to not have this explode is to eat your mistake of Love and trade him for what you can get and commit to Rodgers ASAP

I think it's deeper.... probably gute, ball, and Murphy need to go. I don't think Rodgers has any beef with Jordan Love. I'm willing to bet he's ok with him staying and developing behind him.

That was never the issue. The issue is and was going all the way back to the Favre situation....the Packers FO simply doesn't act with tact. You don't offer Jordy Nelson 1 million and you don't trade up to draft a qb without at least giving your current foh qb a heads up when he was on national tv during said draft

It's common sense and common courtesy

I’m skeptical this is true. That said, not a huge deal to me. Rodgers has always been a whiner including after this years NFCCG debacle. How many times did he go 3 and out inside the red zone. Then snivel about the coach not letting him have a chance to go 4 and out? If he wants out, do it on OUR terms, or he can go try to host jeapordy (although he sucked pretty bad at that).

Says Packers and Broncos are in talks about Rodgers and a deal could happen soon as tonight...

The thing is they would have to offer the moon due to the high dead cap hit a trade would do...

I would be very disappointed at AR if he forces the org to trade Love. I dont know if Love is the guy, but how big of a diva do you have to be to get petty to force out your replacment. Favre dident force the org to ship out Rodgers because reasons.
Hmmmmm. Brady forcing Jimmy G out of New England comes to mind.

If you believe the recent reports then yes, we are all witnessing him acting bigger than the team.

sooooo, no then?
people are reading tweets and getting personal
disliking the situation is fine, but there is zero reason to make it personal

Also a rumor coming out of Denver, Rodgers fiancee being from Denver.

9th pick, 40th and players.

The destination and compensation could match.

I dont think that is worth the dead cap hit though. Who from Denver is worth getting?

I know you are joking but if I'm the Jaguars I don't even offer the #1.

I agree and yes I was joking. The Jaguars aren't close enough to fielding a SB team. Rodgers won't change that. They have a boat load of picks to build around Trevor, who I would love to have.

I thought Rodgers was above all of that petty crap.
Stop it. Every big time superstar quarterback is petty and has an ego. Anyone pretending otherwise isn't being honest with themselves. For whatever reason, it's particularly popular to pretend this is something exclusive to Aaron Rodgers.

I would hope GB would get at least '22's #1 in addition to '21's 1 & 2.
Btw, Shailene is from San Bernardino & Simi Valley, CA.

I'm sure that there are some who would think this trade makes sense though.

Why would they give into his demands? I doubt he would hold out or something.

So... would Gute trade #9 to NE for #15 and 22's #1 OR take Patrick Surtain or the #2 OT on the board (Slater or Darrisaw)?

Broncos are near the bottom of my trade list, given that we wouldn't reap a qb to bridge the gap, unless you think lock has it. I would prefer the 49ers offer and that WAS my lowest tier trade given the conference and team.

at least that would be a pick we could flip and a decent an to bridge the gap.

Maybe they are tired of the behind the scenes drama. Enough smoke over the years that make it seem Rodgers wasn't the easiest to work with. Maybe they did try to extend him, he refuses and at that point.. just not worth it anymore.

The dead cap hit isnt worth to make him happy.
