The dead cap hit isnt worth to make him happy.

It 100% would be if their is more internal issues we all don't know or see...and if it would create more turmoil with other players down road if you don't move him.

Also, if we do have to trade Rodgers, wouldn't it be best to trade him to the AFC so we wouldn't have to deal with him in the playoffs, or as far as competing with for a spot in the standings, unless his team made the Super bowl?

Trade him to an NFC team, so if we have to play against him in the playoffs, we'll win. He can't beat anyone in the NFCCG except Jay Cutler. He's terrible at getting revenge (0-3 in the playoffs against SF).

If that is the case then getting rid of Rodgers isnt going to solve **** and we are in more dire circumstances.

Maybe it is a smoke screen by the Broncos to make other teams not want to leap them thinking they are trading for Rodgers.

Jordan Love must be really good because we all know Rodgers was when they pushed Favre unceremoniously out the door...now they're pushing Rodgers out the plane

Sounds more like Rodgers wants to jump than anybody is pushing.

Rapoport says a few teams have called about Rodgers, but the Packers haven't engaged. Packers have "no plans to trade him". Interesting wording. "Plans" can always change.

That said, Rodgers ain't getting dealt.

Here in Chicago they had a GB guy who used to host Rodgers radio show saying Gute almost took Lock in the 1st round and was going to take him in round 2 until Denver traded up. 3 QBs, Sewell, Slater, Surtain, Horn, Pitts & Chase makes #9 a magic number. I hope Rodgers is still the QB. I also kinda feel sorry for A. Jones and M. Lewis if he is not.

Anyone else feel like the nfl called the broadcast teams and said " this is the kids night, best night of their life... Don't mention Aaron Rodgers or the Packers untill a trade happens or they are on the clock"?

I haven't heard a single mention on any of the feeds, not a peep on what is arguably one of the larger nfl breaking news situations in the last 10 years.

They hammered it pre-draft. I agree though, it's just speculation, dealt with, move on. If it happens...then let the media mongers go nuts!

I hope he had a better evaluation on Love than he did on Lock lol
