Well it seems this may not have been true or it is no longer true. Perhaps it was GM Gutekrause, Mark Murphy, and Russ Ball who had grown tired of Rodgers.

Because I just heard Jason Wilde say that MLF would choose Rodgers over Gutekrause. And he said he can say that with "100 % certainty". Coming from the guy who refused to report on the Rodgers thing all off season because Rodgers wouldn't go on the record with him, that means a lot.

He seemed to be inferring that MLF had issue with Gutekrause as well. And would like more input on personel matters than he has been afforded with Gutekrause. And he had seemed to be inferring all off season that there was a problem between Rodgers and the FO
That is pretty amazing if true. I would go with LaFleur. I like this guy. He could be a head coach in GB for a long time. If he likes living in GB. But honestly, I would be amazed if Gute did not listen to LaFleur...and listen good. Who to keep; who to let go. And concering team needs and types of players. That would be conceit detrimental to the team imho.

Did you watch the game? The Packers defense was better than the bucs offense. The bucs offense wasn't very good in that game
Yes I watched it. Their offense wasn’t great but they still put up 31 on us and had a half dozen plays or so of 20+ yards. Probably close to their season averages I would think.

Get rid of the bum now! Probably didn't even call his mom today. Rodgers is unamerican and probably doesn't like apple pie. What a weirdo! Don't let the door hit you in the butt on you way out. GO!

Yes but the game came down to the Packers offense not being as good as the bucs defense in crunch time. Packers defense forces 3 turnovers Bucs defense allows 0 tds

That's an interesting take for sure.

Right now though I'm putting a pause on everything I hear about this because there's just so much static and noise going on that it's unlikely this buzz has much legs to it.

I'd certainly love to hear that LaFleur is on Rodgers side if only to debunk the claim that he and Rodgers are at odds.

On the other hand, it's hard to imagine that he would just take sides, or that he or Gute would throw each other under the bus here considering that would be Pagano-Grigson level bad and potentially cause worse damage than just a feud with Rodgers. I guess bottom line is I would be real careful about reading into anything on this right now.

For those tired of hearing he doesnt talk to his family. lets look at it this way.

There is a history of him having issues, family, then mm , gf and now this.

we have no clue (unless you have inside info) why issues with the family, break up with 1st fiancée, then munn then danica.

Good it be it warranted for all those?? Sure, they may have deserved it. I know some people that have blocked Aarons dad on social media because he hounds them and wont shut up

But point is there is a precedent of fights(?) or issues with him and close people

@longtimefan oh sorry no I should have said he said he has refused to report the information he had because Rodgers refused to go on the record.

Yeah he's been on top of it he just specifically said he doesn't wanna put stuff out he's been told by the Rodgers camp just for Rodgers to deny he ever said it later. According to him he's been burned like that before

Me too...

But I will be honest and say that if I meet someone in my life and they don't talk to their family that's a definite red flag to me that something might not be right here. I'm not saying it's not possible to have a just reason to not talk to your family. I'm just saying if you don't talk to the people who are supposed to be closest to you, it makes me wonder and be wary.

Now whats been alledged about Rodgers is; he rules his personal relationships like a dictator using peoples fear of being cut out of his life to exert control over situations...

But yes in this situation were I have nothing invested other than my own desire for entertainment... don't care about those things which I normally would because like you said bottom line is were trying to win football games and that dude is like the best qb of all time. Yes Brady won a lot more super bowls but I don't think there's a single person that would say he outplayed Rodgers in the Nfccg

Can we please stop calling Gutekunst Gutekrause? It’s ridiculous and embarassing.

Yes, he also had his mistakes, but he turned the team around, from a losing team to a twice in a row 13-3 team in a very short time frame.

So ... I guess here's what just drives me nuts about all that is that it seems like some fans feel they have the right to just jump in and tell him what to do with his family, dating life, and what not. Sorry but they don't.

Rodgers is a public figure yes, and unfortunately when you are some of your personal life will also become public. But I'm still old fashioned enough to say that I think people should just stay out of it with their judgments.

Don't really know his parents, but sounds like they got problems respecting grown men decisions if they don't agree with them. And don't even get me started on those two loser brothers he has who do nothing all day except sit on their dumb @sses, take to Twitter, and puff out their chests over nothing. I got no respect for them whatsoever.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure Rodgers keeps his personal life separate from his career as do most other athletes and businessmen.

I don't know, I find it difficult to believe that LaFleur has gone on record as saying he would take Rodgers over Gute.

They try to but obviously front offices around the nfl make judgements based on personal life when considering prospective draft picks, free agents, even coaches all the time...and so does everyone of us in both our personal and professional lives

That said I agree with you, none of our business and even if it was we aren't privy to the facts

He didn't say gone on record. He gave his opinion and in his opinion he's 100% certain that MLF is with Rodgers over Gutekrause because he knows there's been some animosity between the two over personel decisions....

He nor I never said MLF said that

Ok it's just his new nickname for me I'd been looking for one, because im sick of using gute or gutey.

It can become a term of endearment if he turns his tenure around fixes this situation...wins a Superbowl and love becomes the starter in 2023 and for the next 15 years or he trades Love and Rodgers goes in a TB esk late career run...

So he won't say anything about the Rodgers situation because Rodgers wouldn't go on record but he doesn't have a problem with LeFleur.

I might be wrong, but giving him the nickname of "Kunst" probably isn't a good option either.
