And the Packers have the tie breaker on the Saints, which is huge. In my opinion, we should want for the Saints to win the South as I don't like the way the Packers matchup with the Bucs.

Their schedule can hardly be classified as easy with the Chiefs, a surging Falcons team, and a Vikings team that's won 4 of its last 5.

While the Falcons blew out the Raiders the Saints dismantled them only two weeks ago. I don't expect New Orleans to be upset this Sunday.

Just heard someone on tv say their wins have come against teams with very poor records

True, the Browns strength of victory is the lowest among teams currently on a playoff spot aside of the Dolphins.

Josh Gordon activated for the Hawks. Like they need more people in Offence!

He won't be able to start playing until Week 16. I hope he turns into a nothing burger for the Sea Turkeys, but yes, they were already pretty rich in the way of the WR department.

just let that sink in for a second. The browns 8-3. Did I hear it right last night, they have the 5th best record in the league. Only 3 teams with more wins

AFC in general has gotten stacked this year with the balance of power.

The best part is the Patriots are not one of those teams and will not have another SB win for at least 20 years. Book it

It's hard to know if the AFC is better than the NFC right now, or if the wins are just more polarized. There are three teams in the NFL with 2 or fewer wins, and they all play in the NFC (Jags, Jets, and Bengals).

This has truly been a weird year for the NFL. Brady no longer a Patriot, Pittsburgh undefeated, The Browns having a winning record and the third best record in the AFC, MVP Race coming down to the wire, no true dominant team in the NFL, yeah it's been crazy.

It's just puts a new take on the Bill vs Brady debate, doesn't it :roflmao:

They just seem like a made for each other duo. Without one, the other just doesn't cut the mustard.

I don't think the Patriots decline has nearly as much to do with Brady being gone has losing half their starters to covid-19 opt outs and injuries.

The math for the Packers earning the 1 seed is simple now that the Seahawks lost unexpectedly to the Giants...

Win out, and hope the Saints lose just once.

That's it. Just handle your business, and the rest should take care of itself. The Saints have Eagles, Chiefs, Vikings, Panthers. The Chiefs game is obviously no picnic, the Vikings have won 5 of 6, the Eagles game could potentially be interesting if Pederson decides to go with Jalen Hurts. Sometimes a change like that can provide a spark, and it's not like the Saints have tape on him.

Packers remaining schedule is about as pedestrian as one could hope for, but obviously can't take any team lightly.

I'm just going to say it. If the Packers get the 1 seed, the Packers are going to the damn Super Bowl. Book it.

I wouldn't call the Titans game pedestrian. If there is one loss in the final 4 games, I would put money on that game.

A game I will be keeping an eye on this weekend is the Vikings and Bucs game. I'm kind of secretly pulling for the Queens to win. That would put the Bucs at 7-6 and with a Packer win, they would be 10-3. Almost guaranteeing that the Packers won't be returning to Raymond James Stadium.

Definitely no cupcake, but it's at home in primetime and their defense can be had. Not going to bet against Rodgers in December against Tannehill. But point well taken. I shudder to think what Derrick Henry could do to our defense

You mean until February, right? ;)

These teams are looking at the 7 seed area so that would bring them to GB as it now stands..

Week 14 Wish List:

Dolphins over Chiefs (I want the Saints to get a pissed off Mahomes in week 15)
Bucs over Vikings (go ahead crush any dream the queens have of winning the division)
Eagles over Saints (a guy can dream, the Saints need to lose one somewhere)
Jets over Seahawks (yeah...right...)
Texans over Bears (just because why not?)

And obviously a victory for the cheese heads.

I mentioned in the last couple of weeks that I shudder to think about the possibility of meeting up with the Bucs at their place again because it's a horrible matchup, but I didn't realize until looking closer at it today that the math for the Bucs to win the division and earn the right to play the Packers at home is extremely bleak.

Yeah, the Saints win just one out of their last four it doesn't matter what the Bucs do.
And who knows with upsets this year? I'd be surprised but not shocked if the Jets beat Seattle, they should have beaten the Raiders last week.

It's going to be a tight race for that number one seed the whole way down

Our remaining games:

Vs Carolina, vs Tennessee, and at Chicago

Saints remaining games:

Vs Kansas City, vs Minny, and at Carolina

Rams remaining games:

Vs Jets, at Seattle, vs Arizona

Seahawks remaining games:

At Washington, vs LA, at San Francisco

Things to note:

Washington winning their last 4 in a row and the play of Alex Smith. Seattle won't get their much hoped for easy win next week.

Cannot see the Saints beating the Chiefs with Taysom Hill at quarterback.

There's a guaranteed loss for either Rams/Seahawks as they play each other in week 16.

I think 12-4 could be enough.

For the Packers, the toughest remaining game is Titans at home. It wouldn't be completely detrimental to lose that game since it isn't a conference opponent. Playoff simulator shows the Packers would still have a 79% chance of getting the 1 seed by only losing to the Titans and going 12-4. Chances significantly drop by losing a conference game however.

Bottom line: just win, baby.

Feels good for the Packers to control its own destiny.

Packers want to avoid a 3-some with NO and either the Rams or 'hawks. Tie breakers start getting a bit messy. Keep it with the Saints and all is good.
