RB Solutions

If Knile can get going and add anything at all we should be pretty good with him + Ty. It's funny I bet anything if we had brought in Spiller and his first 2 games were exactly the same as Montgomerys last 2 most people would be pumped and not worried about "solutions" at RB.

Montgomery has played extremely well out of the backfield the last two games but I'm worried he won't stay healthy getting the majority of the team's carries the rest of the season.

DuJuan Harris was promoted to the 49ers active roster today, so no purging him from their practice squad anymore.
It's possible this is just a 1 week deal while Hyde is out though and then headed back to waivers.

Based on the season so far I wouldn't be confident in any player staying healthy at RB getting a majority of the carries. I don't really see any FA or any players available to us who are going to make the offense better lining up at that position than we are with Monty which is what it boils down to.

All we need is a stop gap for 4-6 weeks.
You are assuming a productive Starks when he returns. He hasn't shown that so far this season. Jackson has never shown anything, not even in preseason games. I like the idea of the original beast mode out of retirement finally coming to GB.

No surprise he wasn't talked about much. If you watch his tape at South Carolina he looks like Starks alot. If I remember correctly he busted a pretty nice TD run in the preseason. And I believe he sits on NYJ PS.

You're correct about Wilds currently being on the Jets practice squad. He rushed 21 times in the preseason for the Falcons gaining 86 yards and scoring two touchdowns. Nevertheless I don't believe he would be a significant upgrade for the Packers at the position.

The Packers will wait to see how Knile Davis shows and on the injury status of Starks and Jackson. However, it's highly likely they'll be in the market for another addition and combing the practice squads of other clubs will be a prime place to look at this point.

One prospect that could be a nice addition and have the added zing of stealing from a hated rival might be C.J. Ham of Minnesota: http://www.vikings.com/team/roster/C.J.-Ham/d71b6469-e0c3-4804-980c-7eb0c7860260

Terron Ward on the Atlanta ps could be another intriquing candidate: http://www.thefalcoholic.com/2016/1/16/10771648/falcons-roster-review-terron-ward-is-the-third-man

Stephen Houston is a Big Ten back considered good enough to catch the attention of New England and to be snapped up for Baltimore's practice squad. http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/9970/stephen-houston

Too bad the Pack did not draft Jay Ajayi, a guy some of liked a lot in the 2015 draft.
