Rams might be overrated.

Melvin is on to something.

In my opinion, only 7-8-1 teams play up and down to the level of the competition.

I don’t know if they are overrated, we went up against a heavyweight and lost, last week 2 weeks ago we up against a light weight and almost lost, the Rams did what the Packers did to win even if it wasn’t impressive......
In the end, winners find ways to win and losers find ways to lose.
Not saying the Packers are losers, but the Rams are definitely winners this year.

Would have liked to have seen a game winning field goal or a Hail Mary at the end though.

Even though they are 7-0, their schedule wasn't that impressive. I think we have a definite chance to come away with a W.

ep 10 @Oakland Won 33-13
Sep 16 Arizona Won 34-0
Sep 23 L.A. Chargers Won 35-23
Sep 27 Minnesota Won 38-31
Oct 7 @Seattle Won 33-31
Oct 14 @Denver Won 23-20
Oct 21 @San Francisco Won 39-10
Could say the very same thing about us in past seasons and this one.

Seems to me that it has been a long freaking time when we were on top from beating strong contending teams.
Now we are just beating the mediocre to weaker ones.
And by "Now" I mean the last couple of seasons or so.

Look at our season.
Should have beaten Wash, Detroit and Minnesota.
Barely beat the 9ers.
That score the Rams had should have been ours.
And now the Rams coach in only his second year now has a record of 19-5.
Overrated? You nuts?
Don't be such a homer.

Andy Reid is the beneficiary of a bounty of young, highly talented offensive skill players that were drafted under John Dorsey's general management, a guy Reid worked to get fired after the 2017 draft getting more control over personnel decisions.

At the same time, reports indicated that the nature of the infighting revolved around Dorsey letting Jamaal Charles and Jeremy Macklin hit the bricks, guys Reid wanted to keep.

While Dorsey's record in KC is hardly spotless (Bowe and Hali contracts for example), the current KC offense has Dorsey's stamp all over it.

So, is it the play calling or is it the bounty of offensive talent? And how good is Reid as an assessor of talent? Things are not always as they superficially appear.
Living in OK and not having the full blown NFL package, I have KC on my television every single weekend whether I like it or not. I understand your point and agree with much of it. The fact is AR is the one calling the plays and watching the way they attack defenses as compared to us is truly night and day. I understand we do not have all the firepower they do but we have more than enough to be more creative in our attack. I would not advocate for allowing AR to run the operation and make all the personnel decisions but when it comes to scripting a game-plan to attack your opponent's D, he doesn't take a backseat to anyone, IMO.

While Rodgers definitely has an input on the game plan he's not the one calling the plays.
