I fully expect another dozen or more from the current roster to be back but either price or competition makes their future not as cut and dried. I fully expect Bulaga to be on the PUP list. And either of Cobb / Jordy to be here, most likely Jordy.

I'm not convinced Clark, Amichia, Gilbert and Fackrell are locks to either make the active roster or get signed to the practice squad.

I would like to see a short, quick receiver with very good hands who can also return kicks take over for Davis. I am just not very impressed with him. Don't care how we would get the new player. Davis can return ok but imho is not really that good. And as a receiver...I have seen nothing. People have often talked of his blazing speed. But I have never seen it. Doesn't matter what his times are if I can't see it in pads and on the football field.

He seems to be a better punt returner than a kick returner. Maybe because it is just catch and go. On his kick returns his first step always went backwards instead of just catch and go. Meanwhile the coverage team covers 2-3 more steps which probably cost 10 -15 yards.

I agree that Davis hasn't shown anything as a receiver making me believe he will have an impact on offense. Therefore I wouldn't mind him being replaced next season. He was pretty good at returning punts ranking third in the league in yards per return. Unfortunately he made some terrible decisions resulting in free catches though.
